Two months waiting for the withdrawal
I cashed out $3000 from Bovada, and requested a check, as I had done several times in the past. As usual, there was a large fee of $100, a few days for the withdrawal to be approved, and a 2 week wait for the check to be delivered. The check showed up right at 14 days. I deposited it in my local bank, as I had done in the past. Within 2 days, I was contacted and told that the check was fraudulent. I contacted Bovada, and they said the check was good. I protested to my bank, to no avail. It took 2 weeks for the physical check to be returned to me. I contacted Bovada, and they asked for a photocopy of the check. I provided that. They offered a stop-payment, and offered to charge me another $40 for the procedure. I agreed to that, and to the 14 days they said that it may take. They then asked me to mark the check "VOID" and to send them a photo. I did. Several days later, they indicated that they would expedite the stop-payment on the check. They then said that it might be 10-15 business days to complete. At 13 business days, I contacted them, and they said not to worry, as we were still within the timeframe. At the end of 15 business days, I contacted them again, and they replied to let me know that it might take 4-6 weeks for the stop-payment to complete! They required me to accept their terms, which included 10-15 business days, and I agreed. Now, they are changing the terms, and I do NOT AGREE. At this point, I won this money at least 2 months ago, and cannot get it. In the meantime, I did cashout another $1200 on another transaction, and used bitcoin for the first time, that was simple and fast. I would recommend that for anyone who is open to it. BUT, most importantly, Bovada owes me $3000, and will not pay me. Play there at your own risk.
