Getting sick, I just want my funds back so I can delete my account
Title says it all. Didn't want to have to file a complaint but considering we are WAY over the "24-48 hrs" time frame I would consider this an "unreasonable amount of time"...
I have been using Bovada for years and I believe I have already gone through this verification process before. On Monday morning November 13th (11/13/22) my account was disabled for seemingly no reason. I sent in verification documentation on November 15th 11/15/22 and was told to wait 24-48 hours. It has now been 34 days since that email.
I sent in multiple forms of proof of address. W2, rental lease, and finally a bank statement. The rental lease was denied but I was never informed of this. It wasn't until weeks later when on the live chat with supervisor S. E that I was informed it was actually denied and for weeks they had been waiting for me to send an acceptable proof of address, even though they never asked and never informed me that the rental lease was denied through email.
So on December 14th at exactly 2:51pm MST I sent a bank statement. I got an email back that same day at 4:31pm I got an email stating: Thank you for submitting to us your documentation.
"Your account is currently under review. You will be contacted via email with further details and/or instructions once the investigation into your account has concluded. Please wait until an update is received as no details will be available prior to the completion of our review." Knowing that this is not confirmation whether it was accepted or denied, I went to the live chat and got confirmation it was accepted. They of course told me to wait 24-48 hours after receiving that email. It is now December 19th at exactly 4:00pm MST (5 days later) and I have received zero communication.
Please AskGamblers.com help me retrieve this money. At this point I don't want to ever use the account or the website any more after dealing with this experience. I will delete it and take my business elsewhere. I just want this to be resolved. Since we are way over 48 hours I'm not sure if it is going to take weeks, or months to finish. Again, we are 34 days into the "review"... As far as I can tell this is an EXTREMELY abnormally long time for the verification process to be ongoing...
