Denied Check, delayed payment, and a withdrawal fee
I requested a withdrawal for 650 dollars and they took 3 days to approve that. Then I had to wait another 5 days for the payment to be shipped, another couple days to receive the check in the mail. Once I got the check in the mail I thought it wasn't that bad but then I go to my bank and try to deposit the check into my account. The bank teller immediately looks at the check and questions me where the check came from, I had read online that Bovada recommends you say it's a refund for online purchase so that's what I said. She tells me they have to send the check to collections. I wait a little more than a week then get a letter in the mail claiming that Internal Compliance cannot process the check. At that point I'm super annoyed but call Bovada, wait on hold for a little over 2 hours finally talk to someone who tells me I can email them a picture of my check and the letter of rejection, so I do. It takes another 2 days for them to say ohh we have seen your message and sent it to our withdrawals team and that they will get back to me in 24-48 hours. Then 3 days later they message me that they are now requesting a "stop payment" which will take another 10-15 days to process just to only put the money back into my betting account.... and to top if off will be charging me a 40 dollar fee for them sending me a bad check. I'm really annoyed because I was expecting to get this money over a month ago and now it's looking like I'm going to have to wait another month (most likely more) before I can finally get my winnings. I had planned to get this money awhile ago and it has caused me to mismanage what I had. If I can finally, hopefully get my payment I will likely never deposit here again (I've lost more than I'm withdrawing) and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
