I hit a relatively large bet and my account balance was a bit north of $6k when Bovada suspended my account and emailed me asking for identity verification. I obliged and sent in the information that was requested. Since that time, it has been well over a month and Bovada has failed to contact me. It feels as if they plan to steal this money that I rightfully won because it was a large bet. I had no trouble withdrawing from, depositing in, or playing on my account prior to this.

I understand that you may “review” accounts. But do you have any policy or guidance with respect to how long it should take? It’s been two months. Are you allowed to continue your “review” for 6 months? A year? Why would I continue to use Bovada when my money isn’t safe there and other gaming platforms are overseen and accountable to gaming boards? Please just resolve my issue and pay me what I am owed. I have verified my identity and done all you’ve asked. You seem to ask no question taking deposits or losing bets but only start “reviewing” when things so in favor of the player. I will change my view if this situation is properly resolved in short order but otherwise I feel like I am being robbed.

Bovada has since responded to me and told me that I never sent them the requested verification documents. As you’ll see in the attached file, this is a lie—I sent the documentation on February 23rd, a day after it was requested. I have since resent them the documents and they responded today saying my account is “still under review”. Again, it has been over a month. I have bills to pay. If this is not resolved soon I would warn everyone to avoid Bovada at all costs!!!
