I opened an account with Bovada and promptly won $7500. When trying to withdraw, I was asked to provide verification documents and I did immediately. I was given a 24-48 hour time frame for resolution. It has now been 3 weeks with no resolution. I have contacted them many times to determine if anything additional is needed. They have not provided any details on the reason for the investigation.
So in the end, 5 weeks after turning $2,000 into $9,500, I have received $2,000 back and gotten $7,500 taken away from me with little reason.
Note to others: Avoid Bovada. They are slow, non-transparent, rude and unfair.

After four weeks of me trying to contact Bovada, I finally get a call to discuss the account. The associate on the phone is incredibly rude and condescending, claiming that I knowingly violated an obscure rule that you can't bet more than 50% of your bonus on any single bet. Not to mention he wondered why I hadn't called earlier (there is no phone number on the site to call and I asked the online chat many times for a number to call). After much back and forth I am told any won funds are being seized and I can only get my deposit back (meaning out of my $9,500 balance I'm receiving $2,000).
To get this deposit back, I have to send a bitcoin address to a customer service person on the chat. After doing so, I'm told I need to wait 10-15 BUSINESS DAYS to get the funds (after already waiting 28 days to be contacted). After being told it would take 24-48 hours to resolve my account, suffice it to say I'm very skeptical about this timeline actually happening.
The original timeline was 24-48 hours. It has now been 3.5 weeks. No explanation of what is being verified.
