Account disabled after my withdrawal request
I recently became interested in sports gambling with all my friends doing it and I created an account with a referral from one of my friends that uses bovada. I deposited 350$ and used the bovada 75% welcome bonus. Total account balance was just under 600.00 after crypto fees.
Rollover was around 2,990$.
After a fun weekend of gambling on different sports I was lucky enough to have met the rollover requirement. I requested a withdraw of 2,000$ and left about 229.00 in my account to continue on with.
Requested withdrawal was pending for 6 hours before I got a notification my account was disabled and under review.
Called customer service, they don’t take phone calls anymore(red flag) contacted the automated message system and was told they don’t know why and all I can do is wait for an email.(red flag)
Asked to speak with the security department so I could help clear up any issues. They are unreachable and don’t have a number or a person to message online(red flag)
I was told the review takes 24-48 hours but in the same sentence was told no more than a week. So what is it ? Seeing numerous folks mention weeks and months with no response.
I was hesitant to get into gambling online for reasons like this. I have 350.00 of my own money taken from me and now my friend feels terrible over it like it is their fault.
Is that the bovada businsss model ? I’m new to online gambling so is disabling new players accounts and seizing their money how it works with no customer service support or answers ?
I seriously want to cry. Bovada may be the reason I never gamble again after just starting. I work really hard for my money and it has been taken.
