Bets limitation caused me losing my bonus and real money balance
I opened an account and deposited €102.57 on the 1st of March to betbeard and I received a welcome bonus of the same amount. The bonus terms are that it expires in 15 days. Another relevant term to this complaint is that one cannot bet more than once per event. I started placing many bets earlier this week (I was ill and unable to place many bets prior) to try meet the wagering requirements. I made some profit but then two days ago I logged in only to see that the website was in maintenance. After the maintenance period of about three hours ended I started to try to place bets but all my bets were not accepted. I was trying to bet €5 at a time at the appropriate games and odds.
I went to the live chat to ask what was going on. The agent said that everything was fine on their end, so I thought to try again and this time I used the "Bet Max" button which is supposed to show the maximum that can be placed on a particular bet. The maximum was €1. This was very worrying because I had about 48 hours to potentially bet 1210 times and even if I randomly bet on every event on the website it would be impossible. I went back to the live chat and explained the situation and they said that they would contact the traders department to get an answer. I then waited for some hours and decided to go back to the live chat to ask for an update. The agent said that he had spoken to the traders and there were no limitations put on my account. He said I could bet as much as I wanted. I tried again and it still limited me to €1. I went back to the live chat and the agent literally said he didn't know why that was happening and reiterated that there are no limits on my account. I then spent hours trying to bet on everything I could find on the site and I still couldn't bet more than €1. I then went back to live chat and the agent said they had said all they could say. They didn't know why this had happened but it was "my choice" whether to bet or not. I asked them who would then know and they said I could email support@betbeard.com. I did that two days ago, more than once, and never got a reply. When I went to the live chat to ask why support had not replied to my urgent query I was ignored. The message was read and never replied to. My bonus is expiring a few hours from now. The agent had said that if it expires I will not only lose the bonus but I will also lose my deposit. This is utterly unfair. I understand that casinos have the right to limit high wining customers, and it would be one thing if they had said that the traders department had made a risk assessment and limited my account, but as stated they said there were no limits on my account. No reason was given for this happening to me, and when I noted that this happened after the website went offline I was told that that had nothing to do with it. I'm resigned to losing the bonus and the money accumulated, thus I am asking that they simply refund my deposit of €102.57. That's the amount in dispute: €102.57. I will attach screenshots showing parts s of the many fruitless conversations that I had with them.
The heart of my complaint is that this limitation (which they even deny has happened) was done so as to prevent me from completing the wagering requirements. I have never heard of a casino limiting bets to €1. And usually limits are placed because of huge profits. I deposited €102.57, reached a height of €334, and was at €280 when this happened. I asked them if they could extend the amount of time for my bonus to give me a fair chance to finish but they refused. Given the fact that my bonus is expiring later today I am simply asking that they return my deposit of €102.57. That's all
