I recently received a promotional email from "The 888 Team" to get 200 free spins if I deposited $10 or more. I'd been looking for a new online casino to try out and thought that 888 Casino was a reputable company so I clicked on the link, was brought to the site, deposited $35, rec'd a 100% deposit bonus, but when I got to the space to enter my promo code it was shaded out and I couldn't type in it. I followed up with Support shortly after and received a response saying that they had no record of my deposit. To make a long story short, the link that I clicked on directed me to another casino, Casino On Net. How confusing is this. One casino sends me the promotion but the link goes to another one. Ok, so I go on live chat on Casino On Net and I'm told they can't help me I have to email Support. This was almost 2 weeks ago and I still haven't received a response from Casino On net AND when I emailed 888 casino to let them know I felt they were responsible for this as they were the ones that sent me the promotional email, this is the response I received from them:
"As the email you have forwarded us mentions Jenn, in order to receive the 200 free spins, it was imperative to enter the Deposit code '200Freaky'. This you say was not possible as the Promotional Code section was greyed out.
I appreciate your claim, as the section is indeed greyed out, however it turns editable as soon as the little box on the left is ticked, just as the toll tip next to it indicates (?). Furthermore, Casino-on-Net's customer service phone number and chat service is available in the cashier itself, next to the promotion code box, on the right side; having contacted us we would have advised you of it, together with help in your deposit making if necessary.
As this was not done and the deposit entered without the code, we are unable to credit you with the promotional free spins."
Really??!! I have to tick a box to be able to type in it? And they mention Casino On Nets phone number, but the 2 phone numbers listed are in Germany and the UK - i wouldn't even know how to dial out. And, as mentioned to 888 the live help said they couldn't help me. I have been playing at online casinos for years and I have never been so disappointed with an experience. The promotion was a scam, customer support is non existant, and I feel like I was completely ripped off by these two companies.
