It took me a while before making my first deposit because I didn't know what to expect from Energy Casino, it is because I did not have any interest in their games, especially from Novomatic but eventually I just gave them a chance. So I took the liberty of claiming the deposit bonus and I got it with no problem at all.

It was a small deposit of 30 euro, the reason why I made a small deposit was to me it is easier to clear the wager because the amount of it is smaller.

I've played a few Novomatic games and I was surprised to see a few big wins on my screen.

After those big wins I managed to place bigger bets (without exceeding the max bets of course). Thou the luck was not in my favor since I placed the bigger bets and in the end I was not able to clear the wagering requirements. I thought refreshing the game will be resetting the game session and therefore the chance of a big win will be greater but I was not right.

Deposit bonuses are very attempting because it multiplies your balance by 2x at least and that's why I will always take these kinda bonuses. Energy casino has a multiple good reviews and this was the reason why took their bonus.
It was fun playing with the deposit bonus but it's pity not able to clear the wagering, I guess we can't always win...unfortunately.
There are plenty casinos offering 100 percent first deposit bonus but the catch is that every casino has different wagering requirements, from 30x deposit + bonus (is equals as 60x deposit) to 50x deposit + bonus. It's a mandatory to read the terms before claiming the bonus. I personally think Energy's deposit bonus wagering a little to high but then again, it was my own decision for claiming it so I guess the joke is on me.

Energy have one of the most complex sets of bonus terms and conditions you'll find anywhere now. I don't completely blame them for this as I'm sure they are simply responding to the never ending threat of advantage players that seem intent on spoiling on-line gaming for everybody, but the huge list of restrictions and clauses applied to different deposit methods and countries definitely strikes me as them being more than a little susceptible to making knee jerk reactions anytime they see something they don't like at their casino.

Examples of this... there's a set of countries that can use all deposit methods, PaySafeCard and UKash are banned for another set, Neteller alone is blocked for another list of countries (although weirdly, Skrill is permitted), and confusingly any country not in any of the other lists cannot use Neteller OR Skrill. It's very messy and there doesn't seem to be a great deal of logic to it suggesting these rules have been brought in whenever a certain deposit method has been used fraudulently without thought for the huge number of legitimate players that will be affected.

It's nice to get a 100% match offer of course, and Energy has a greater selection of games available now than they did back when I took this bonus. Trouble is there's a hefty list of games not permitted for bonus play too including Dead or Alive, Koi Princess, Ladies Nite, Victorious and Bloodsuckers. Some of these I've never seen banned from bonus play before and I really have no idea why Energy casino has chosen to blacklist them. I mean really, NetEnt's Victorious?! Surely that game can't have been identified as a risk can it?

The final straw as far as I'm concerned is the wagering requirements which have again been increased significantly over the past three years. The normal rule is currently 25x the deposit plus bonus, but UK players have to go further at 30x the combined amount and several other countries have a massive 40x both figures to beat before the bonus money is converted to cash. As far as I'm concerned that is way too high and for those reasons I don't think I can recommend this bonus anymore, which is a real shame.
