The Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl last season by beating the Kansas City Chiefs 40:22. The Eagles started the new campaign with another victory, not as quite as convincing as against the Chiefs, but a win is a win.
The Chiefs, on the other hand, lost their opening game to the Chargers, which is not a promising start to the new season, but we need to remember that it’s only the first round.
The Second Round
The second round brings many interesting clashes, among them the re-run of last season's Super Bowl match: Philadelphia Eagles vs. Kansas City Chiefs. Bookies are giving them almost equal chances of winning the match, with a slight advantage given to the Eagles.
The second round could bring us more clarity on the shape and quality of the teams that are bringing into the new campaign, but it’s going to be a while before we know the true favourites for the divisions and conference winners.
