Who are the Ice Hockey World Championship Favourites?

Bookmakers consider Canada to be this year’s favourite to win the IIHF World Championship, with the outright odds ranging somewhere between 2.0 and 2.4. 

Sweden is the second favourite with bookmakers, with the odds typically ranging from 3.75 to 5.00, followed by the USA national team with the odds between 5.5 and 7.0.

Last year’s champion, the Czech Republic national team, is the fourth favourite this year, with the odds around 9.0 on average, ranging from 7.0 to 10.0
