Eurovision 2026: Who Are the Favourites?

Another spring, another Eurovision Song Contest. We prepare for three evenings of great performances, amazing music and costumes, and plenty of fun. Over the years, betting on the winner has become an inseparable part of the whole show, and we all turn to bookies for the favourites to win this year.

What Do the Winner Odds Say?

With a 30% chance of victory and the odds of around 2.50, Finland’s Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen are the bookies’ favourites to win the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest. The song is called “Liekinheitin”, which means “Flamethrower”.

France is the second favourite to win this year with a powerful ballad. The odds range anywhere from 5.5 to 8.0, with an 11% chance of winning. Denmark has found its way to the number three favourite with 10% chance of a win and odds between 7.00 and 8.50.

Greece is also among the top favourites, and Akylas is priced at odds between 8.00 and 11.00 for a victory in Vienna. Australia’s Delta Goodrem is also close to these favourites with some bookmakers, so you can find odds between 8.00 and 15.00.

Past Winners and Bookmakers

When looking at the Eurovision odds, the important thing is to look beyond the number one favourite because it often happens that it is indeed another country that takes the victory. If we, for example, look at last year’s contest, the winner, JJ from Austria, was only the fourth favourite with bookmakers.

The year before that, in 2024, it was the third favourite who won the title. Nemo from Switzerland was behind Croatia’s Baby Lasagna and Israel’s Eden Golan, but still won in Sweden that year.

However, if we look at the year 2023, bookmakers were right to favour Sweden’s Loreen, as she won the contest for the second time with a song called Tattoo.

So, while the odds tell a lot about the favourites, they don’t always win. Check out our Eurovision betting guide for some tips on betting on Eurovision, and choose your own favourites.
