Eurovision Song Contest 2025

It’s Eurovision Time! Odds, Favourites and Other Details

The Eurovision Song Contest is finally here! Basel is hosting this year’s event, after Switzerland won last year’s edition thanks to Nemo and the song “The Code”. Who are this year’s favourites and what are the odds the bookmakers set for the top songs? Read on to find out.

Eurovision 2025 Betting Odds

In the previous few editions, the bookmakers’ favourites were often the winners, but it didn’t happen every time. Last year, the favourite was Croatia’s Baby Lasagna, but he ended up in the second position, despite receiving the largest number of televotes.

If you plan to place some Eurovision bets, this year’s favourites are as follows:

  • Sweden, at odds of 1.8 to 2.2 (2.18 at Betandyou)
  • Austria, with the odds ranging from 3.25 to 4.0

Apart from those two, everyone else is given a lot smaller chances to win this year’s contest, but it doesn’t mean that it’s impossible. Maybe your favourite is among the following:

  • France, the third favourite, with the odds between 8.0 and 13.0
  • Israel, with the odds from 13.0 to 21.0

They are followed by Finland, Belgium and the Netherlands, respectively. Other countries are far behind, and it is highly unlikely that they will win this year.

First, the Semi-Finals

The first semi-final is scheduled for Tuesday, 13 May, and the second for Thursday, 15 May. The top ten participants from each of those two will progress to the final, where they will join the so-called “Big 5”, France, Germany, Spain, the UK and Italy.

Participants from fifteen countries will perform their songs live on stage in Basel in the first semi-final, whereas there will be sixteen participants in the second.

We are all looking forward to three evenings of thrills, and we will keep you posted if the odds change after the semi-final events.
