The NFL season is drawing to a close, with Super Bowl 2025 set to kick off on 9 February as the grand culmination of the league. This year, the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans will host the American football spectacle.
More Than Just a Sporting Event
The Super Bowl has reached its 59th edition with the current season. It is the 11th time the event is being held in New Orleans, following the Super Bowl XLVII in 2013 which was also held at the Superdome.
As usual, the event will be a full-blown show, so even if you’re not a 100% football fan you’ll find tons of reasons to tune in and watch the game. Jon Batiste will open the Super Bowl LIX by singing the US national anthem and rapper Kendrick Lamar will entertain the audience as the headliner during the halftime show.
Of course, if you’re just tuning in for the thrill of the sports, you’re guaranteed to have a blast. You’ll be able to follow the action via various sports channels, as well as Tubi and online sportsbooks that offer live streaming in their NFL betting catalogues.
Super Bowl LIX Odds and Predictions
Following an exciting Wildcard weekend, NFL is gearing up for the peak of the season, as the divisional standings shift and teams prepare for one more round of matchups.
Who’ll win this year’s Super Bowl? Bookies say last year’s champions Kansas City Chiefs have a high chance of extending their winning streak as they’re preparing to face off against Houston Texans on home turf.
But, the big favourite this year is the Detroit Lions, the only team that managed to match the Chiefs’ performance in the divisional round of the the league. Lions were one of the No.1 seeds for this season and, as history showed us, the highly seeded teams oftentimes managed to not only get to the Super Bowl stage but also win the trophy.
That doesn’t mean there aren’t any other potential takers. Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens are also heavily favoured among the bookmakers, especially since they’re set to play against underdog teams soon.
