Betting Tip: Southampton - Manchester City
Manchester City have shored up their defensive issues recently, and that might make this a somewhat low-scoring affair. A win is a given, especially considering how poor Southampton are at home.

Southampton
With three games remaining, the goal remains the same for Southampton. They need only one more point to avoid the undignified distinction of finishing with the joint fewest points in Premier League history (tied with Derby County).
After cementing themselves into the last place following their defeat against also-relegated Leicester, there is nothing else to fight for. They conceded twice in the first half, and that made it difficult for any real reaction to come up in the second.
They did miss a few opportunities, including a disallowed goal, but they did not find a way to put one past Leicester’s goalkeeper and come within striking distance of a tie.
After this clash against Manchester City, they are travelling to Liverpool to face Everton, followed by a last-round game against Arsenal at home. Unfortunately for their fans, it would hardly be a surprise if the Saints lost all three games.
At the end of the day, it might be appropriate for them to be ‘crowned’ as the worst PL team ever (alongside Derby). They have looked out of place for the entirety of the season.

Manchester City
It took them a while to bounce back from a tough few months, but they are now on a roll and, considering their easy schedule ahead, they appear to be in a position to make it in the top 5 at the end of the season, qualifying for the Champions League.
Any other outcome would be catastrophic for many reasons.
Their play has picked up, even without Haaland. They have consistently improved the defence, while Kevin De Bruyne’s swan song as a City player has been decisive in the past few rounds.
The Belgian has suffered several injuries and knocks this season, but he is putting up terrific performances as he bids Manchester City goodbye at the end of the season. His winner helped City beat Wolves last week (1-0).
The Cityzens could have easily put another goal or more past Wolves, but they could have also conceded one. At the end of the day, all that matters is that the win was secured, and another one of those against bottom-feeders Southampton would allow them to extend their winning streak.
Concentration is crucial, as the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace awaits, the only chance for Manchester City to win a trophy this season.
