Betting Tip: Crystal Palace - Wolves
Crystal Palace will very likely be ‘hungover’ from the FA Cup final, and Wolves might be able to take advantage. They have enough firepower to score, and it is not unlikely they come away with point(s). However, their defensive issues make BTTS the better option here.

Crystal Palace
All Palace could care about in the last few weeks was the FA Cup. They did not quite invest much into the league recently, instead trying to prepare as best as possible for the match against Manchester City. That paid off with a huge win in the final.
In the two upcoming games against Wolves and Liverpool, the team will have nothing to strive for. It will be interesting to see how manager Oliver Glasner will handle those two games that will change nothing materially for Crystal Palace.
Prior to last week’s league clash against Spurs, the Austrian manager expressed his desire for his players to focus on that game and leave the FA Cup out of their minds for the moment. That worked, and Crystal Palace were focused, coming away with an excellent performance and a very solid 0-2 away win.
In this one, however, with the FA Cup success in the rearview mirror, it might be too much to expect a similar performance from the Eagles. Glasner is probably aware of that too, and he is expected to rotate his squad, something that could affect the team’s performance, considering the roster’s limited depth.
Wolves
Wolves managed to win six straight in recent weeks, but their last two ended with them unable to score even once. They created a few chances, and should have scored at least once. They just could not convert and lacked the clinical finishing they had displayed in past weeks.
Last week, they fell to Brighton (0-2). Guedes had his moment to give Wolves the lead early on, but he missed, and in the 28th minute, Brighton took advantage with Welbeck’s penalty. Wolves squandered a few opportunities, including the double chance by Ait-Nouri and Larsen in the 63rd minute, but they couldn’t score.
They were unable to equalise, and Gruda doubled Brighton’s lead in the 85th minute. That was pretty much it for the game, and the team appeared mentally drained after that. It is therefore important for Wolves to return to a more positive mental state with a win or a good performance against Palace, even if there are no standings implications.
Vitor Pereira’s team will go to London and attempt to play their usual football. They will rely on Cunha’s creativity, Larsen’s quality, and Ait-Nouri’s roaming along the sideline. There are, of course, questions defensively.
