Believe it or not, PSG are yet to win in Ligue 1 this season in three attempts, so they have some catching up to do. But the road to recovery should start right here at Brest, a venue where they have an excellent record. But though they’re very likely to win, the stats show they’re also highly likely to concede in the process.
Betting Tip: PSG to Win in Another BTTS Match
After successfully defending their Champions League title last season, PSG started the 2026/7 season slowly with a defeat in the French Super Cup against Lens, and back-to-back 2-2 draws in Ligue 1, which were followed by a shock 2-1 home defeat to Monaco last weekend, meaning they’re now down in 14th place in the French league. Early days, yes, but they won’t want to drop too many points and put pressure on themselves already.
But in midweek, they were more like the PSG we know only too well, with a big 6-1 win over Bratislava in the Champions League, including a Ferran Torres hat-trick and a brace from Ousmane Dembele.
Their opponents this week, Brest, have started their campaign better than them. Freakishly, both of their first two games of the season also finished 2-2 (!), though they followed that up with a good 2-1 win at Le Havre.
But PGS should be confident of getting their first Ligue 1 win of the season in this one. After all, they’ve beaten them (away) in each of their nine visits here.
The last five here in northwest France ended 3-0, 5-2, 3-2, 2-1 and 4-2 to PSG, so plenty of goals, and we note four of those were also ‘both teams to score’ matches.
Add to that the fact that both these teams have been involved in plenty of BTTS games already this season, and you can see why we like a PSG win with both teams scoring in it.

It’s been an excellent few months for Spanish PSG forward Ferran Torres. After scoring the winner in the World Cup final, he moved from Barcelona to PSG in the summer, then scored twice in a 2-2 draw at Rennes before that midweek hat-trick, in the process becoming the fourth PSG player to score one in the Champions League.
And he’s in good company there, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe being the others.
