Refund of deposits after self exclusion

I am looking for your help in this matter. The casino is refusing to refund my deposits I have made after I have requested a self-exclusion due to a gambling problem.
I requested permanent self-exclusion via email on the 6th of August 2025 and I never received any response from them and my account was not closed.
I then after that made 1702.00€ of deposits, when my account was supposed to be closed, live-chat is almost always unavailable on the site and today I contacted them about the issue and they closed my account and said that no refunds will be made.
I feel like the casino has broke the whole idea of responsible gaming by not complying with my request at all in the first place which has resulted in a big loss of funds.
I am asking for them to refund all of the made deposits worth 1702€.
