BetWarrior Casino- Unclear bonus terms and all my money gone

I have run into an issue with this Casino and i'll admit I am here to make sure I am not being mislead by the support here about the terms of the casino as they are hard for me to understand exactly.

I made a deposit when I joined and claimed the casino welcome offer. I made a deposit of 500 and received a 1000 bonus. I wagered quite a bit and realized I was up $2052.00CAD in my real cash balance as I have not wagered any of the bonus funds associated with the bonus. My total balance was $3052.00CAD ( 2052cash + 1000 bonus)

I then proceeded to send an e-mail to support to ask if I could withdraw my winnings as I was unsure if the bonus funds were tied to the real cash balance.

They replied with a term stating that the cash portion was wagered first then the bonus ( Which made sense because my bets were not contributing to the wagering requirement of the bonus)

I then cancelled the bonus to withdraw my funds and my balance went straight to 0.

After going back and forth with support in e-mails I am left with the conclusion that had I not cancelled the bonus and withdrawn the $2052.00CAD in winnings I would have been paid. Instead, because I cancelled the bonus first which I understood to be the correct method, I lost everything and they will not make an exception for this error. Are they allowed to take my deposit + winnings because I cancelled an untied/unused bonus?
