I am writing to share a deeply concerning experience I am facing with BetPlays, which highlights a blatant disregard for responsible gaming practices.
Despite my high-risk status for gambling addiction, as confirmed through a survey on their website, BetPlays is inexplicably refusing to close my account. This not only contradicts their own acknowledgment of the risks posed but also demonstrates a shocking disregard for the well-being of their customers.
I have provided BetPlays with all necessary documentation, including my license, bank statement, and even a selfie holding my license, in an effort to comply with their verification procedures. However, they continue to demand additional documents, creating an unwarranted and burdensome process that contradicts the principles of fair and transparent customer service.
Adding to my frustration, BetPlays is in violation of their own terms and conditions (7.1 and 7.2), which explicitly state that all funds must be returned to the owner in case of an account closure request. Despite this, they persist in denying my legitimate request and withholding my winnings without valid reasons.
I have a comprehensive email chain documenting their non-compliance with their own policies, and I am left with no alternative but to file a formal complaint against BetPlays. This egregious behavior not only puts their credibility at stake but also exposes vulnerable users to potential harm.
