If memory serves the 3rd stage of Galas welcome bonus is a little more generous now than it used to be, just like the 2nd deposit bonus you are invited to take up a 50% bonus on your 3rd deposit, with a maximum value of £100 and therefore the maximum you should deposit is £200 – at the other end of the scale you can deposit just £10 and still receive a 50% bonus of £5, although I would not recommend this because the wagering requirements are based on your deposit plus bonus amount, so at the bottom end, you are tying up your deposited funds and denying yourself the possibility of making a withdrawal should you have a very early big hit, for very little in additional funds.
The wagering requirements are displayed as being 20 times the deposit plus bonus amount, which sounds really quite reasonable, but the cynic in me tells me its displayed this way quite deliberately – on a 50% bonus, a 20x deposit plus bonus wagering requirement is exactly the same as a 60x bonus wagering requirement – a number which I suspect would put off quite a few people immediately upon first glance!
Bonuses are usually awarded automatically by the software at Gala, but if you do not wish to take advantage of any of their offers they do have a live chat facility which is available 24 hours a day. Sometimes I have had to wait quite a while for somebody to answer my queries when using this, but when a person answers they are usually very polite, courteous and helpful, and generally able to resolve your queries reasonably quickly. You can request to have a bonus removed as long as you have not begun playing using the bonus funds.
Whilst its not the best bonus offer around, it is still better than that offered to long term Gala players – I receive very little ongoing offers despite being a regular depositor. Whether you take advantage of it or not will probably depend on how beatable you think a 60x bonus wagering requirement is, but personally I think for large deposits, the extra playtime is possibly worth taking a chance on.
