We predict the home side to win, offered at the odds of 1.80.

Atalanta

Atalanta could have taken all three points in its match against Como before the international break, but ultimately had to settle for a 1-1 draw. They started strongly, taking the lead in the 6th minute through Samardzic and immediately missing three major chances to double their advantage.

A defensive error in the 19th minute led to Como’s equaliser, which somewhat unsettled them. In the second half, they regained control of the match and created two big chances, yet the scoreline remained unchanged.

Atalanta return to action after the break with a favourable schedule ahead. Following the Lazio fixture, they host Slavia Prague in the Champions League before travelling to face Cremonese the following Sunday.

Midfielder and captain De Roon returns from suspension, but key defensive midfielder Scalvini and left-sided wing-back Zalewski remain unavailable. Long-term absentees Kolasinac (defender), Scamacca (forward), and Bakker (left-back) are still missing,

Bellanova (right wing-back) and Kossounou (centre-back) are expected to recover just in time.

Lazio

In their last game before the break, Lazio drew 3-3 at home against Torino in a match of wild twists and turns.

They went behind as early as the 16th minute but reacted quickly, turning the game around with two goals from winger Cancellieri (24’, 40’). However, their defensive frailties and poor marking on set pieces persisted, and Torino levelled in the 73rd minute and even went ahead 3-2 in stoppage time.

In a dramatic finale, Lazio was awarded a penalty after an eight-minute VAR review. Cataldi converted the penalty in the 103rd minute for the final 3–3.

The injury list is extensive. Main attacking options Castellanos and Zaccagni are both ruled out, while striker Dia remains doubtful. Key midfielders Rovella and Dele-Bashiru, left-back Pellegrini, and centre-back Gigot are all still sidelined. Right-back Marusic and experienced midfielder Vecino are racing against time to be fit.
