It’s a known fact that Bayern Munich play aggressively against any opponent. Facing a semi-professional team like Auckland City, Bayern were not quite merciful. While they will certainly enter the game against Bayern as the underdog, no one should be expecting them to just fold over and lose. The past season was not a successful one for the Argentinians, and the early disqualification from the CONMEBOL Libertadores brought a lot of nervousness around the club. Getting knocked out of the domestic league quarter finals by Independiente was the straw that broke the camel’s back for the fans, who were irate.
