Hi there,
We initially agreed to start streaming for Goldenbet with a total of 5 of our streamers, but unfortunately only 2 of them managed to go live. Our agreement was based on a CPA + RevShare deal.
After just a few days, Goldenbet decided to pause the CPA, claiming that too many of our players were depositing using crypto. They also requested KYC for all our referred players, which we had no issue with, as we know our traffic is legitimate. Once the KYC was completed, all players were verified as legitimate.
Following that, Goldenbet informed us they would continue running the campaign until the end of March to evaluate player quality, which again was not a problem for us.
The real issue, however, is that they are now refusing to pay out the CPA, which totals €5,400. Instead, they are only offering to pay the RevShare amount of €2,014. During this short period—roughly 6 weeks—we generated around €17,000 in deposits while only streaming for them 3-4 times.
Additionally, Goldenbet has begun threatening us, which we find highly unprofessional. I’ve attached screenshots of our conversation for reference.
In my opinion, if the players had only been bonus abusers or simply waged the money without real value, our RevShare earnings should’ve been close to zero—not over €2,000. This alone indicates that the players are of decent quality.
Hello,
It's actually good that this complaint was submitted - it will help inform other operators and affiliates.
This affiliate’s campaign raised serious red flags from the beginning. Now, we are aware of similar behavior they’ve shown with other brands we’re in contact with, and our campaign with them followed the same exact pattern.
Out of 39 depositing players, only a small number didn’t raise suspicions. Most were linked to each other by IP addresses, devices, and overlapping activity. Only a few completed verification. The majority disappeared as soon as KYC was requested—some even left balances untouched in their accounts.
The gameplay itself showed clear signs of high-risk behavior. Players deposited and then attempted to wager their deposits through low-risk progressive slots, and after wager was completed, they withdrew it right after.
We also found multiple accounts using the same deposit/withdrawal addresses.
With all of this taken into account, we had every right to classify this campaign as fraudulent, block the account, and deny all commissions.
Still, since a few players looked legitimate, I chose to offer a compromise and allow withdrawal of just the RevShare. This was more than fair given the circumstances, and our goal was to resolve things without unnecessary escalation.
After I shared the full report of the suspicious activity with the affiliate, they didn’t respond at all. Instead, they chose to file a complaint here.
We’re fully prepared to share everything needed to prove this campaign was fraudulent.
Thank you for your detailed response.
While we understand your concerns, we would like to clarify a few key points from our side. You mentioned that out of 39 depositing players, only 14 made a single deposit. However, this also means that the remaining 25 players made multiple deposits – which clearly demonstrates a pattern of genuine engagement rather than fraudulent behavior.
We also want to highlight that this campaign was run through streaming, where visibility and long-term engagement are directly tied to continued collaboration. Once the campaign was paused or the relationship became uncertain, we naturally stopped promoting the brand. It’s not surprising that player activity decreased afterwards – if a brand is no longer visible or recommended during live content, players are less likely to return or continue playing.
Regarding the concerns about verification and gameplay behavior, affiliates cannot control how users choose to interact with a platform once they sign up. Our responsibility is to deliver traffic and interest, and we did exactly that. If users then fail KYC or choose not to continue, that should not automatically be interpreted as fraudulent intent – especially when the majority made more than one deposit.
We do appreciate the gesture of offering RevShare, and we’ve always aimed to resolve this professionally and transparently. However, we believe this campaign deserves to be evaluated based on the actual traffic and engagement delivered, not assumptions made after-the-fact.
We’re open to further discussion and cooperation should you need additional clarification.
