Winbuddies - Affiliate withholding agreed payments and providing inconsistent FTD data

UNRESOLVED

We are submitting this complaint regarding an unresolved payment dispute with [Winbuddies / Spinhub].

We are an affiliate/traffic partner working with this program under agreed CPA terms. The traffic was delivered according to the agreed conditions, and the FTDs were generated through our affiliate traffic.

The issue arose when the affiliate program decided to reject the payments for the traffic, alleging CPA abuse based primarily on player behaviour and retention metrics.

We have repeatedly requested the underlying data and a proper reconciliation showing which specific FTDs were considered invalid and why. However, instead of providing affiliate/player-level evidence, the program has continued to rely on general retention statistics and has stated that the overall numbers and player behaviour are sufficient proof of abuse.

This is particularly concerning because the information provided by the program itself has been inconsistent.

At one point, we received a report/export from the program showing 75 FTDs. However, during a subsequent call, their representative stated that there were only 35 FTDs.

We have not received a clear explanation for this discrepancy or a proper reconciliation of the numbers.

The dispute also concerns traffic generated by 11 different affiliates. Despite this, the program is attempting to reject the entire amount rather than identifying specific fraudulent players, FTDs, affiliates, or transactions and providing evidence for each case.

We do not dispute that an affiliate program has the right to investigate traffic and reject demonstrably fraudulent activity. However, we believe that a blanket rejection of all FTDs from multiple affiliates must be supported by clear and verifiable evidence. General statements regarding player behaviour or retention do not, by themselves, establish that the traffic was fraudulent, incentivized, or generated through CPA abuse.

We have made repeated attempts to resolve this matter directly and have been requesting the necessary information since August 27. Instead of receiving a proper reconciliation and final substantiated position, we have repeatedly had to follow up for basic information and wait several days for responses.

We were also informed that reports which had previously been available in the affiliate portal were removed while the dispute was still unresolved.

On September 9, after another detailed discussion, we offered two reasonable options:

1. Reach a fair commercial settlement based on the information available to both sides and close the matter; or
2. If the program maintains that the entire amount is invalid and refuses to discuss a reasonable settlement, escalate the matter to independent third parties and the affiliate industry community for an independent assessment.

On September 10, the representative informed us that management wanted to arrange a call with our management. We immediately confirmed our availability and repeatedly asked for a suitable date and time so that the call could be arranged. We have not received a confirmed time.

Our main concern is that the agreed payments are currently being withheld while the program has not provided a consistent and properly reconciled explanation for the rejection.

We are therefore asking AskGamblers to assist in reviewing this dispute and determining whether the affiliate program has sufficient evidence to reject the FTDs and withhold the agreed payments.

We are ready to provide the full communication history, affiliate reports, screenshots, traffic/campaign information, the conflicting FTD reports, and any other available evidence.

Our requested resolution is either:

* payment of the agreed outstanding amount; or
* a transparent, affiliate/player-level reconciliation identifying the specific FTDs considered invalid, the exact reason for each rejection, and supporting evidence, followed by a fair commercial resolution based on the verified data.

We are not asking AskGamblers to automatically take our side. We are asking for an independent review of the evidence and for the affiliate program to substantiate its claim rather than rejecting the entire amount without a proper reconciliation.

Dear ASG,
Please find a link to the AGD forum here https://www.affiliateguarddog.com/community/members/affgang.51947/#recent-content

The way it looks, the Affiliate Network tries to do "business" with many other clients, and the outcome is always the same. In addition to this, the name of the Affiliate Network appears in different Affiliate Account Manager Groups as "fraudulent" and "better to stay away from" when it comes to doing business with them.

As you can see, there's a particular pattern here, which is outrageous if you ask me, and ASG shouldn't tolerate such behavior! Sending non-legit traffic, blaming the operator side of things for misconduct, and then trying to get paid for it; in addition, they try to pull the name of the Affiliate program through the mud for being the "victim".

With all due respect, we are not playing these kinds of games, and the way it looks, others are fed up with this kind of behavior as well. This is something that ASG, as an Affiliate itself, shouldn't tolerate such kind of behavior. The Affiliate Network received an offer to earn 50% Revenue Share for LIFE for all of its players and is entitled to withdraw that money as its commission.

Thanks,
Winbuddies

Dear ASG,

We would like to clarify a few very important points regarding the response from Winbuddies.

First, their response contains serious accusations about our traffic, but does not provide a single piece of evidence proving that the traffic was illegitimate, fraudulent, incentivized, or otherwise in breach of the agreed terms.

They refer to “numbers” and “player behaviour”, but this is not evidence by itself. We have repeatedly requested the actual data and specific grounds on which the FTDs were classified as invalid. No such evidence has been provided.

In contrast, we have extensive documentation supporting the legitimacy of our traffic and demonstrating multiple inconsistencies and breaches on the program’s side.

Most importantly, they still completely avoid addressing the issue with their own data:

• They previously provided us with an export showing 75 FTDs.
• During a subsequent call, they stated that there were only 35 FTDs.
• This leaves a discrepancy of 40 FTDs, which has never been properly explained or reconciled.
• Reports that were previously available in the affiliate account were also removed, and they have not explained why.
• Despite repeatedly requesting a complete reconciliation, they have failed to provide a consistent final report showing how the numbers and rejected amount were calculated.

These are not minor details. They are fundamental facts that should be clarified before making serious accusations against an affiliate network.

We also find it important to mention that this is no longer an isolated concern. More complaints regarding this affiliate program are appearing on this forum, and within the affiliate community several affected teams are already discussing the situation and what further steps should be taken.

We would also like to point out that the response from Winbuddies completely avoids the question of their own reporting and system discrepancies. If they are confident in their position, it should be straightforward for them to provide a consistent reconciliation and the evidence supporting their conclusions.

We are not asking ASG to simply take our word for it. We are asking for the same standard of evidence from both sides.

If Winbuddies claims that our traffic is illegitimate, they should provide the evidence supporting that claim. We are prepared to provide our documentation demonstrating the legitimacy of the traffic and the relevant agreements and communications from our side.

We therefore ask ASG to specifically address the following:

1. Why was an export showing 75 FTDs provided to us if the actual figure was allegedly 35?
2. What happened to the other 40 FTDs?
3. Why were previously available reports removed from the affiliate account?
4. What specific evidence proves that the disputed traffic was illegitimate or in breach of the agreement?
5. Why has no complete and consistent reconciliation been provided despite our repeated requests?

We remain willing to resolve this matter professionally, but we cannot accept serious accusations without evidence while the program itself cannot provide consistent data regarding its own traffic figures.

We ask ASG to take these points into consideration when reviewing the complaint.

Thank you.
