Whoâs the bride, and whoâs the bridegroom? Donât ask me â ask NetEnt, hehehe. 5 beautiful oriental ladies are up for grabs guys. No, not the grab-as-you-like thingie, nor the grab-and-go kind, but the pay-and-grab kind. Oops, that doesnât sound decent, does it? What I mean is pay for playing and grab the winnings, but the ladies stay! Hahaha.
I got to wondering when I started playing this game â who the heck is the bride for? There are no guys in the line-up, but everything else has been put together in a very familiar way, especially that âthoingâ sound effect whenever a scatter symbol lands on the reels. âHey, I know that soundâŠbut I canât remember where Iâve heard itâŠâ, then it struck me very soon after. 5 Brides, 9 paylines, 12 free spins, 2x multiplier, Sticky Wilds, plus 5 Extra free spins for those who got lucky â these 5 Brides are meant for Jesse and his outlaw boys! I bet you didnât know that too at first, right? What, you did? Damn! But if youâre asking me whoâs Jesse? Iâm gonna faint! Hahaha.
Okay, to cut a very long story short, Whoâs The Bride is a replica of Dead Or Alive, but with new skins â instead of Jesse and his boys, we have Beauty and her girls. Too bad though, the boys had their guns, but these girls donât have their lingerie! Hahaha. Oh, okay, okay, must keep things decent, right? Hehehe.
Everything there is in this game, is what you can find in Jesseâs game, so itâs a direct clone or replica, and it even seem to use the same engine too. Why seem? Because I havenât played enough of the game to be 100% certain, but after 2000 spins or so, I can safely say itâs the same engine. Meaning, if you can get a 5000x win on Dead Or Alive, then you most probably could win it too with these brides. Need I say more? Ah, smart reader you! Hehehe.
For those who arenât familiar with these 2 games (maybe you just came out from a secluded jungle somewhere, wink, wink), this Whoâs The Bride game plays with 9 paylines, the minimum starting bet is $0.09 per spin, but the winnings can be humongous indeed, but you need to get that Extra 5 free spins during the first 12 free spins feature game, whereby those Sticky Wilds could then create 1, 2 or 3 Wild-line wins. Be careful though, such a win could knock you off your seat - backwards, sideways, or whichever way, hehehe.
Why I rated this game with only 6 Stars? Well, unlike with Dead Or Alive, I couldnât even get a 30x win after 3 separate plays! But of course, this game can go crazy either way, and I happened to get the wrong end of it, but thatâs still worth 6 Stars. Wait until I hit those Wild-lines and youâll see 10 full Stars instead! Hahaha.
Since this is only a 5 reel slot with 9 pay lines there is less going on and easier to see the incoming wins unlike megaways games so that is something to put in the liked category I would say here. This slot is pretty much a clone of Dead or Alive and for those that have played that game and most of us already have you would know what this is game is like. Getting those 5 wilds on a pay line is the goal of the game or 5 scatters, those pay massive amounts but good luck in getting those. The other thing about this game is that the theme is of a more relaxed nature compared to Dead or Alive, here we have no guns or boots or alcohol just relaxing brides that appear and are the wilds in this game. The RTP of the game is also high around 97% but you may want to check the help file to see if it is different as NetEnt is now doing different RTP for different casinos. Found the average of triggering a feature for me around 180 spins and that is certainly better than on other slots that can be in the 400 or 500 spins on average.
The base game can be brutal if you donât get some decent hits of 5OAK premium symbols and you may end up down several hundred xBet during a session. And I have found the features pay on the low side from the playtime I have had on it. My very first feature on this game was a pathetic 7.1x after taking 150 spins to trigger, such a disappointing result, however, the next one paid 52x, which took 45 spins but the 3rd was back to the rubbish of 10x and the 4th was 6.78x! Come on! Whereâs my 5 scatters, I have yet to get even 4 scatters. It would take a lot of luck and much grinding to get the 5 wilds on a pay line or 5 scatters, many thousands of spins would be required or some super luck.
