This improves multipliers, gives an extra spin in the feature, and seems to increase bonus chances. Most wins on this game are pretty mediocre without hitting the 2 scatter or 3 scatter bonuses. With 2 scatter it simply improves on one symbol and often results in a mediocre win. Occasionally, however, this can cause a pretty decent win but not common.

The main purpose is to go for the 3 scatter bonus round. This, with the bonus bet, will upgrade symbols 5 times. You also have a chance at an additional scatter (or more) during the round.
