Diamond Dogs Slot NetEnt

Diamond Dogs is a luxurious, albeit ridiculous, video slot. These pups sure know how to live it up. If you're lucky, maybe they'll let you in on their wealth! Give Diamond Dogs a try on our website right now for free. If you're in the mood to play for real money, you can register at any of our listed NetEnt casinos and begin playing instantly.

Start by choosing how much you want to wager. Press Coin Value to change the size of a coin. Available denominations range from 0.01 to 0.50. Next, click Bet Level to change the number of coins wagered on every line. If you want to play a different number of paylines than the maximum 25, click Bet Lines. When you're set up, press the circular arrow button to start spinning. Alternatively, just hit Max Bet if you want to bet 4 coins on all 25 lines.

In addition to being glitzy and glamorous, the animals of Diamond Dogs sure know how to entertain. The truly wild dogs can make some big line wins happen in a hurry, with just 4 in a row paying 2,000x the line bet and 5 paying an impressive 10,000x. Get three or more scattered chihuahuas to activate the free spins feature at a mystery multiplier. The crème de la crème, however, is the bonus photographer. Get three Bonus symbols on any payline's first 3 reels to activate this star-studded feature and walk away richer than ever. Diamond Dogs really proves that leading a dog's life can be fabulous.

Looking at this Diamond Dogs game reminded me of another NetEnt game - Piggy Riches. This game was probably designed and created by the same group of game designers for Piggy Riches, because of the similarly rich presentation in the game icons and general graphics, and with an elaborately decorated playscreen border too. Even the colours are very similar to those used in Piggy Riches. But would a Piggy Riches game lover loves this Diamond Dogs game too? I doubt it, for several reasons!

The paytable is similar to quite a number of other NetEnt games, with 5 Wilds paying 10,000x the line bet, and 5 Scatters paying 100x the total bet. The other symbols, however, varies from game to game. In this case, all the other symbols start at 600x and ends with 60x the line bet for getting any 5 of them, and with non-paying Bonus symbols too. Nonetheless, it is still a fairly good paytable, and definitely much better than any of NetEnt's new games!

When comparing its game play with Piggy Riches, Diamond Dogs loses out! Why? Simply because it was, and still is, very difficult to get any of the Free Spins game! Most of the time, only the Bonus game would come, probably in the ratio of about 20 Bonus games to one Free Spins game, and that was, and is, totally disappointing! Why? Because the Bonus games couldn't and wouldn't pay anything more than 75x the total bet amount! My best win of 65x came from one of these Bonus games, after numerous plays on it, on various separate occasions, and over the last 2 or 3 years! The Free Spins game? I could hardly ever get them, and the very few times that I did, all paid miserably low! No doubt those 10 free spins have a 3x multiplier, and can be retriggered too, but I have never got anything good out of them, unlike with Piggy Riches game.

Well, some players may actually enjoy getting lots of those Bonus games, regardless of how they pay out, but certainly not for me. Any game that cannot pay a 100x or more win on a regular basis, is considered not a good game by me.

Diamond Dogs seems to have largely disappeared from most on-line casinos these days which seems a real shame to me as I had a lot of fun playing it when I first started gambling on-line! Okay, it is unashamedly girly, and as I now understand, a blatantly female targeted "clone slot" of the popular Blood Suckers game, also from NetEnt, but despite this, I still recommend it if you can find it!

There are two features in this game - the first is a pick style bonus, to trigger it you need to hit 3 or more bonus symbols on an active payline. More bonus symbols means bigger wins on each pick, but one quarter of the choices shown will kick you out back to the main game so you need to be lucky! The second is a typical free spins feature, you get ten spins irrespective of how many scatter symbols you hit, and there is a 3x multiplier on all wins achieved during the free spins mode.

The base game payouts are very low as this is a low variance game, though if you can find it available for bonus play then this is a good choice for trying to convert your bonus funds into withdrawable cash. Unfortunately many casinos do not allow this game for bonus play for that very reason.

One thing I do not fully understand, and have been unable to clarify because the game is unavailable for free money play at any of the sites I have been able to find by Googling, is the difference in RTP between this game and Blood Suckers - they are apparently clones of the same game engine, however Blood Suckers has a stated RTP of 98% here at Ask Gamblers, whereas Diamond Dogs is listed as returning just 96.5%. I also note from the description given that the maximum or "jackpot" win from a full line of wilds is apparently 5000x coins in this game compared to 7500x in Blood Suckers (a difference of a full 100x your stake in real terms), which may well be enough to explain the difference in RTP on its own. If this analysis is correct then you would be well advised to stick with Blood Suckers, even if you happen to enjoy the fluffy animal theme better!

Diamond Dogs is yet another animal themed game from NetEnt. It's a 5-reels 25-paylines video slot with super fast spinning reels, playable from only 0.25 cents bet per spin. Any dog lover would feel like to start spinning, or at least to give it a try. Before I forget, if you really like animal themed slots, I would suggest you try out 'Hounds Hotel' by Microgaming. I like that theme very much and its Bonus game too. The symbols in Diamond Dogs look glamourous and they remind me of Mega Fortune's slot symbols, with those glittering decorations attached on. On the reels, you can see symbols that can relate to dogs living a true glamourous life, like a dog house, a luxurious steak meal served on a diamond-studded dish, a vitamin bone wrapped with a blue ribbon, a VIP pee spot (just in case you didn't realize it), and golden tags. The coolest to me is the Scatter symbol, reminding me of Zack Chuvava, a dog who actually lives a luxurious life with my friend in Skopje.

The Dog House is the highest paying symbol and it pays 600 coins for collecting 5 of them. It's pretty poor, especially when there isn't any win multiplier attached. For collecting 5 Wilds, you get rewarded with 10,000 coins. The Wild symbol substitutes for all except for Scatter and Bonus symbols. Now this may sound epic, but I can't recall if I ever saw any winning screenshots in AskGamblers forum, and I've played this game only twice before, so it is kind of silly talking about collecting Wilds and big wins in this game. It's not about playing a game once and if it doesn't pay you, you make some terrible comments. I don't think it would be fair when we are talking about gambling. 3 Bonus symbols on any active payline will start a Bonus game. I don't know why NetEnt decided to award players with only 10 free spins no matter how many Scatters you collected. 5 Scatters pay 100x the total bet but still award only 10 free Spins. I haven't triggered any of the Free Spins game nor the Bonus game. I would definitely discuss this game on the forum if I would play it again.
