Ah, I can remember back to those days when everything was built from stone. A stone house, a stone car, and even a stone TV. Oh, not forgetting those stone handphones and stone laptops too. Who could do without them right? Yeah, the Flintstones would have a really tough time without them, but I really enjoyed watching the Flintstones on my real TV back in those days. Nah, I didn't come from the stone age, but you already know that. By the way, what do you know what they call a 4-wheel drive vehicle back then? A 4-stone drive, but the Flintstones didn't have that. His was the 2-feet drive vehicle, powered by a 1 manpower engine. Hehehe.
Well, let your imagination run wild a bit, then you'll enjoy playing this Cool Stone Age game from Pragmatic (Top Game). Back in those days, everything can only be in stone or in fabric. Can't be wearing a stone shirt and pants can we? Anyway, the Brown Brontosaurus, that's a dinosaur if you don't know, is the Wild symbol in the game. It only substitutes for other symbols except the Scatter and the Bonus symbols. Gees, they sure are very dumb in the Stone Age. The 4-stone Drive is the Bonus symbol, and getting 3 or more of them on any active payline awards a Caveman Cruiser Bonus game. Nope, it doesn't pay anything for itself too. The Stone Cottage is the Scatter symbol, the third very dumb symbol in the game, and getting 3, 4 or 5 of them awards 5, 10 or 20 free spins without any multiplier. Oh sheesh! How more stoned can you get? As for the symbols, the Old Man, a scientist or whatever, pays a very nice 10,000x the line bet for 5 of him, but all the other symbols pay from a low 1000x to 30x the line bet for 5 of each kind. Well, a non-paying Wild symbol, a non-paying Scatter symbol, and a non-paying Bonus symbol, plus low values for the other symbols, can only make this paytable a damn low one! Never mind that high-paying Old Man symbol, they aren't easy to get at all, not even 3 of them on any payline.
In the Caveman Cruiser Bonus game, gees, what a sophisticated name for a blardy simple game, you drive the 4-stone car, turning left or right at the crossroads, to pick up things and earn cash rewards. Meeting up with a creature ends one life, and you've only got 2 lives to live in the Stone Age, which is damn better than our 1 life now isn't it? Win up to 7380 coins in this game, or so the paytable says. I always meet up with a creature on my first or second turn, with payouts that can be as low as 1x my bet amount, or up to 27x, based on my last play recently. A very boring bonus game is all I can say. As for the Free Spins game, getting 5 free spins without any multiplier is as good as not getting any free spins at all. They only pay 1x to 3x my bet amount! Sheesh! What a blardy disappointing Free Spins games, and probably the worst I have ever come across too!
What do I dislike about this Cool Stone Age game? Well, almost everything! From the very low paytable, to the very low payouts in both the Bonus and the Free Spins games. Yes, if you do happen to get 5 of that Old Man, then you'll get a nice good win, but other than that, everything else sucks! Hmm, okay, I do like the cartoonish symbols, but only just a little bit. Wish I can like the payouts too, but I simply cannot.
