StatusBet Affiliates is the casino affiliate program in charge of promoting Statusbet Casino, a Microgaming casino and sportsbook brand. This affiliate program was created in 2010 with the aim of reaching players in the UK and around the world, except for those residing in Bulgaria, France, Turkey, and the US. The brand is available in English, German, and Greek, and offers many games to players at home and on the go. StatusBet Affiliates is governed under the laws of the Isle of Man.
All affiliates of StatusBet Affiliates are paid under the company’s standard revenue sharing plan. This is based on net revenue brought in from referred players. Each product has its own formula, but the general gist is gross gaming revenue minus licensing fees, payment fees, taxes, and promotional costs. This plan is tiered; affiliates who reach higher revenue tiers are paid a greater percentage as commission.
StatusBet Affiliates does carry forward negative balances. For affiliates, this can result in a bad month leading to several months of no commissions. There is no bundling of earnings, however, since StatusBet Affiliates only markets a single brand.
Although not typically enforced, the affiliate contract does give StatusBet Affiliates the right to impose performance quotas on affiliates. This may lead to a reduction in the commission rate or the termination of an affiliate’s account.
StatusBet Affiliates does not offer any alternative commission plans, such as CPA or CPM, at this time.
Members of StatusBet Affiliates do not have access to any sort of sub-affiliation scheme, so they cannot earn secondary commissions by referring other affiliates.
StatusBet Affiliates pays its partners within 20 days from the beginning of the following month. In order for an affiliate to be eligible for a commission payment, he or she must have accrued a minimum of €100 in commissions. Those who do not reach this threshold will have their earnings carried forward, except for balances of €3 or less which are forfeited.
The only payment method offered by StatusBet Affiliates is bank wire transfer. This is one of the most expensive payment methods for most people, although it is universally available. Affiliates are solely responsible for any fees incurred from payment. This includes any foreign exchange costs since commissions are always paid in euros.
StatusBet Affiliates is powered by a proprietary software platform. Affiliates can use this to get the latest information about player activity and commission earnings, although the platform does not feature some of the more advanced tools offered by more common third-party providers.
