Somewhere out there in the Siberian jungles, there's a tiger and a bear that's always competing against each other, or least that what Microgaming says. Well, I wouldn't be surprised to see a tiger fighting with a bear in real life, for survival, or for food, but a tiger and a bear doing armwrestling? Oh gees! Hahaha. Well, that's what you get in this game anyway. Whenever the feature game is won, you get to pick the Tiger or the Bear to win. And guess what? The Tiger almost always wins! Sheesh!
The Bear's Claw Marks is the Wild symbol in the game, but doesn't pay anything for getting them. It does, however, doubles all wins with it. The logo 'Tiger Vs Bear' is the Scatter symbol, paying a low 50x total bet for getting 5 of them. Getting the Tiger and the Bear, or vice versa, on reels 1 and 5, triggers the 'Siberian Standoff' feature game. Pick either the Tiger or the Bear to win the armwrestling match. You become the referee, hahaha. Both the Tiger and the Bear symbol pays 750x the line bet, and the other symbols pay from 500x down to 100x the line bet for getting any 5 of them. A very low paytable sadly!
In the 'Siberian Standoff' feature game, each Tiger and Bear has its own game - the Tiger awarding 8 free spins if it wins the armwrestling match, 4 free spins if it loses, whilst the Bear awards a 'pick and win' game with a 2x multiplier if the Bear wins, but with no multiplier if it loses. The Tiger's free spins can award up to 3 random Wild Reels, but most free spins tend to get only 1 Wild Reel, or 2 Wild Reels at the most. I have never got any of the 3 Wild Reels so far in my plays.
Needless to say, I have played this game several times on and off, and I have also picked on both the Tiger and the Bear to win, but always getting the Tiger winning the ridiculous armwrestling match. Only once I managed to get the Bear to win, and the Bear's feature game paid me my best win so far - not a lot by any means, just a small 92x total bet win, because all items picked were paid 2x. The Tiger's feature game, either the 8 or the 4 free spins, all played and paid poorly. Even getting 2 Wild Reels didn't paid well. There was a time when those 8 free spins paid me a miserable 5x total bet win, and on another game, paid me only a 10x win! What the argh! The Bear's 'pick and win' feature game, on the other hand, came out more steadily, with more consistent wins, either big or small, depending on your luck. Nevertheless, this game disappoints me and I don't think I would want to play it again!
