All I needed was just one look, and I already knew that this The Legend of Olympus game must be from Rabcat, and not from Microgaming. Rabcat software don't have many games to offer, in fact I don't even like any of their games, but somehow, these games can only be found at Microgaming casinos. Why Microgaming would accept Rabcat's games, I simply cannot figure out. Having these low-paying non-popular games would only give a lower impression of Microgaming, well, to me at least, and probably to those in the know too.

The Wild symbol pays an incredible 1000x the total bet for 5 of them (can this be true?), it substitutes for other symbols except the Scatter and the Bonus symbols, but is nevertheless a dumb Wild symbol. It doesn't do anything else except to be present in the game. The 'Free Spins' is the Scatter symbol, another dumb symbol that doesn't pay anything for itself, and getting 3 or more of these Scatters trigger 5 or 7 free spins without any multiplier. What the argh! This is as good as not having any free spins at all! The Coin is the Bonus symbol, the third dumb symbol in the game, getting 3 or more of which triggers the Secret Bonus Feature, a 'Pick-and-win' feature that pays from 5x up to 500x the total bet amount. As for the other symbols, Zeus pays 1000x the total bet amount, same as for the Wild symbol, but all the other symbols have much lower values of 50x to 0.5x the total bet amount, all for 5 of each kind. I cannot say for sure if that 1000x is for total bet or is actually for 1000x the line bet, but that's what the paytable indicates, truly or falsely. I didn't get any of such wins, so I cannot say for certain. If it's for a line bet win, then the entire paytable is a low one. If all the values are indicated correctly, then it's a good paytable, even though I would like to rate it as only average.

Well, disregarding what may be right and what may be wrong with the paytable, what matters most is how the game played and paid, as far as I am concerned. I managed to get two times the Secret Bonus Feature, and it paid me 5x and 5x my bet amount. Sheesh! I had 3 rounds of the Free Spins game, 2 of 5 free spins and 1 of 7 free spins, and the payouts were 4x, 5x and 11x my bet amount. So how's that for Free Spins games payout eh? Blardy ridiculous if you ask me! Typical of all the other Rabcat games!

I like the mythological theme what this game deals with and not really remember any other products what grabbed this subject and illustrated it in funny way. Normally, I wouldn’t like this theory at this theme but The Legends of Olympus is really well-made and structured and fortunately the creators took care of not making the interface of this slot too childish or flippant and found a way to coordinate the humorous and the ‘serious’ elements into a real unit that has the ability to be a good looking slot and cause some funny moments at the same time. To achieve this main goal the great graphics, the Corinthians columns and other decorative motives definitely helped and the used attractive symbols and characters also possess these kinds of mixed qualities and the background and supplementary images just amplify the visual power of the screen as we can see both Olympus and the Hell just like Zeus and a creature of underworld. Maybe the main focus, reel area could be bigger comparing to the entire screen which could have made more visible the sweet icons but it’s really no big deal just an observation. After all, the overall big picture is really admirable and that’s why I really love it and also respect what the developer visually put on the table with this slot.

This 20-payline slot offers quite good top prize as it is 20.000 coins (and this is the best what I can say about the game segment) if 5 Creature characters form a good line and this figure also serves the game as Wild but it just replaces other pictograms but not multiply wins or pay by own. The slot offers two bonuses from which the Legends of Olympus feature is not too interesting and exciting and to be honest I also don’t find it too usable. After getting 3 or more Gold Bonus icons on the reels we’re shown 3 flipping coins and we must stop them and find two golden coins to move on to the second stage where the process is the same but this time we have just one pick out of three treasure chests. As you can see this is a ‘pick me’ style side game where the final won amount is depending on the number of triggering symbols and the maximum we can win here is 500 times of total bet which would be very generous prize but practically I think it won’t make anyone rich with the won amount here as most of the occasions the award is just around x10-x20 of total bet at least what I’ve witnessed so far.

The other traditional secondary game is free spin section which is not a good extra at all. Three appearing Zeus symbols during normal game mode activate it and randomly choose the number of free spins which can’t be more than 14 spins. Unfortunately, the awarded extra games didn’t get any add-on, win multiplier or special feature that could give us any hope to win there any remarkable amounts so a routine session here doesn’t do any magic but what’s bigger trouble it also can’t reward us with amounts what we could consider as a solid or real tolerable return.

Generally, the game segment the features and functions symbols have lot of restrictions and limits and that’s really influences the overall gaming experience and especially our bankroll. Most of the frequent symbols that land on the reels pay only very little. Very rare symbols like a 5oak combination of Wilds or Olympus, which you'll most likely never hit, pays a monster of 1,000x bet. The second best paying combination only pays 50x bet. So it’s hard to get a nice profit in this game . I once experimented with The Legend of Olympus with 2 euro bets and all I can remember is that I lost 150 euros quite rapidly.

Although there are two second-level features, including a bonus game and free spins on offer, I barely won anything decent. Only managed to win 5 free spins once, not sure if this is the standard number you get awarded when you hit 3 or more free spins symbols, but that’s what I received.

The free spins mounted to 2x bet. And the bonus game you might wonder? Well, I believe you get 3 coins and if you manage to get two golden coins then you can proceed to the next step. I only received one though and won 5x bet.

This game is doesn't pay very big at the main game but most of the time it really pays your bet a little bit back but the big win is only at the bonus round and you would be surprised how big it could be if you choose the right treasure chest.

I have played this game for hours, the first time playing The legend of the Olympus was at BetAt casino because the were offering a 5 euro free no deposit bonus.
Scrolling down their games page I found this and wanted to try.
I must say because of their mini prizes I was able to meet the wagering requirements of the bonus, it took me about 3 hours with the lowest stake and I had a few bonus round with the biggest wins (20 euro) and some bonus cannot be entered because you need minimum 2 golden coins to get the treasure chest bonus round.

3 out of 5 chances I did manage to enter the treasure chest bonus round but most of the time I just chose the wrong treasure chest (or maybe the prizes are fixed).
