The Green Knight Slot Play'n GO

The Green Knight slot runs on Play’n GO software and features 5 reels and 20 paylines. As you might have already suspected from the title, the game is a second slot in the Sword and the Grail series that is inspired with, of course, the great king Arthur and the Arthurian legends. Set off to medieval times and meet the legends here for fun, or at any Play’n GO Casino for real.

How to Play The Green Knight Slot

Set your bets before you head off to an adventure with sir Gawain and get ready to meet the Green Knight.

  • Increase and decrease your bets with the help of Quick Betting Panel.
  • Once the bets are set, hit Spin to get the reels moving.
  • If you get tired of manual spin, hit the Autoplay and choose the number of spins that you want to have with no interruptions.

Slot Features

Shield is the Wild that can sub in for all the other symbols to help form winning combos when there is a chance to do so. The only symbol it cannot sub for is the Green Knight symbols. However, the Shield is much more than that. It can land as Multiplier Wild on any spin and will always appear as Multiplier Wild during the Shield Spins and Free Spins rounds. Multipliers that can come with Wilds are x2, x5, x10, x25 and x100.

Free Spins

Hitting 3 or more Green Knight symbols will trigger Free Spins round, and you will win 5 spins to kick it off. With each winning spin you will get to witness the Wild Multiplier increasing from x2 up to x10 and it will get applied to any win on that spin.

Shield Spins

During the Free Spins feature, you can land additional 2 or more Special Green Knights which will trigger the Shield Spins, and award 5 of them. Again, the Multiplier Wild will be available on the triggering spins, and whichever multiplier you win, that one will remain as fixed multiplier till the round ends. Once the Shield Spins end, you will get returned to finish up the remaining Free Spins if you have any left.

Summary

The Green Knight is another great release from Play’n GO with the design that have a great attention to detail. There is nothing here that is too much, and it’s all pretty much modest, yet the features can really go over to top with a bit of luck on your side. It’s highly volatile slot with maximum wins that cap at x10000 your bet, which is really insane to have that kind of potential, even though you cannot expect these wins to drop often. Overall, if you choose to give this slot a couple of spins, we do not think that you will get disappointed with what it has to offer.

The Green Knight is a slot from Play'n Go provider that was released sometime earlier this year. The game has 5 reels and 10 paylines and a free spins bonus round- very simple mechanic and easy to understand, which I really like. I was quite keen to try this game when it came out due to the fact that it follows the steps of Sword and the Grail slot- both with the Knight theme and the wild multipliers.

When it comes to the theme, the game has a Knights and Royal theme, and I don't really have anything against it. As always, Play'n Go has done a great job with the game design and the graphics look great. Aside from that, I think this game is quite exciting - both base game and bonus round. Simply because of the multipliers and big win possibilities.

In the base game, just like for Sword and Grail slot, you can randomly get wilds with multipliers, from 2x up to 100x multipliers. Of course, the game has very high volatility so it's quite likely that you get a 100x multiplier and no wild lands on the spin. However, I think that it definitely adds to the excitement and I've had a couple of good base game hits due to this feature.

Then of course the star of this game is the free spins bonus round. Unlike other Play'n Go games, this game has only 5 free spins in the bonus round. And for every spin, the wilds will be with higher multipliers. First spin gives you wilds with 2x multipliers, second spin- 5x, third spin 10x multiplier, fourth 25x and fifth - 100x multiplier. And the best part is that you can get a retrigger- land 2 scatters and you get 5 free spins with the multiplier you retriggered the feature. I've managed to get several retiriggers even on 25x and 100x multipliers and of course- while it's not easy to land a winning combination with a wild in it, it's possible. My best win has been around 500x bet when landing the 100x multiplier.

Overall, this is an exciting game that can give a good balance boost and the free spins have great winning potential. I also enjoy the slot design and I can say that this is a game I play quite often these days.

The Green Knight is the remake of the popular Play'n Go Slot The Sword and the Grail. The concept is the same with a few changes to the slot. Graphics are better and more or less the theme is the same. However, the bonus feature works differently even though you get the same up to x100 multiplier.

This slot has 20 or 25 paylines, however, you can spin the reels for 10 cents only and activate all the lines. You will find on the reels J, Q, K, A, and some high-end symbols are horses, some axe, a lady warrior, the man warrior and the wild symbol. The winning potential is endless. You can win over x5000 I think your total spin, on the 100x multiplier free spin.

During the base game, a multiplier can be selected for that current spin randomly. You can be awarded an x2 up to 100x multiplier. The previous slot has 2x, 5x, 10x, and 100x, this one has an x25 multiplier as well. Get a full screen of wilds at 100x, award x5000 your total win.

There is a knight shield symbol acting as scatter, and landing 3 of them activates 5 free spins, if you land 5 scatters you will win x50 your total bet as scatter win. During free spins, x2 is activated and landing 2 scatters give 5 additional spins at the spin multiplier and the same applies to the other multipliers, which is a better chance at triggering x100, compare to getting 17 scatters in the Sword and Grail which is very hard.

I must say triggering free spins here in this release Is x10 harder than the sword on the grail where scatters are way more active to trigger free spins but features pay much poor in the first release.

On release day I got x100 and almost x250 winner on this slot and simply am loving it. The base game is good to keep a steady balance for most times as well, however, it can drain you quickly as well. So take a run for it and see for yourself.
