Oh my god! What we have here is yet another game from Microgaming that has a game title of 'Sunquest', but has absolutely nothing to do with the sun at all! Not even about looking for the sun. So why the heck named the game so? Only Microgaming knows, but it is totally out of context, to say it very nicely. Looking at the game, you might even frown, as I did, because it is nothing more than just another fruits machine game, being reused and re-cloned for the millionth time, for which Microgaming is tops for doing it. Gees!

The Sunset is the WIld symbol. It doesn't pay anything for itself, it doesn't double any wins, it doesn't become stacked or expanded, and only substitutes for other symbols except the Scatter symbol. This is a totally dumb Wild symbol, the worst kind you can find in any game. The Scatter symbol pays an unbelievable 50x the total bet for 5 of them. If you think that's unbelievably big, then you're wrong! It's as good as useless, where a 'scatter' is concerned, because it doesn't make the symbol 'special' as it should be, but worse still, the Scatter symbols don't even award any Free Spins game either. What the argh! The highest paying symbol is the Golden Coin, paying 10,000x the line bet for 5 of them, the Diamond pays 1000x, the '7' pays 900x, the Bell pays 800x, the BAR pays 700x, and the fruits pay from 300x to 50x, all per line bet for 5 of each kind. This kind of paytable can only be considered as average to low, because only 1 symbol has a good value for it, whilst all others are low.

Just as with many other similar games from Microgaming, this Sunquest game is nothing more than a basic straightforward slot game, the norm of games decades ago. By today's standards, it's place is on a memorabilia display shelf, for seeing, not playing. My only game on it, recently, was a horrible experience, with my credits going down all the way, never even once trying to get back up. A totally disappointing game for me, a game worthy of my deep freezer.

When I played this slot I realized that the scatters appear on the reels quite often and they do offer scatter payout. So if you get 5 scatters you will get 50 x bet win. I always choose to play this game when my balance is really low. So when I have something like 10 or 15 euros on my balance I turn to this slot. I always play it on min bet and many times this game has taken me out of the gutter.

For that reason I would suggest everyone to try this slot. I know it is very simple and if you are not a beginner you are looking for something more complex, but still, this game is worth trying. Really good payouts during the base game too.

Other payouts are slight less, something like 100 x total bet.

Scatters here did not trigger anything, 5 scatters pay 50 x total bet, a bit low payout, but from my experience they appear on reels quite often, and it is not so hard job to get scatters here. i played this game only at 32red casino, since at quickfire version this slot probably did not even presented, since it is very old and outdated, and most likely did not interesting to anyone.
