Sugar Trail is 5 reels and 40 pay-lines video slot powered by Quickspin software provider. This slot is inspired with everything sugary and sweet and if you over do it, your teeth might hurt. The slot is colorful and fun-looking. The reels are framed in sweets and they are set against the fantasy land backdrop filled with ice-cream cones and candy floss. Give this slot a spin here for free or visit Quickspin Casinos to play for real money.
Before you start exploring this fantasy land, you should adjust your betting range. By clicking on "Total Bet" button you can set the coins denomination which ranges from 0.40 to 80. By clicking on "Autoplay" you will set the reels turning automatically without interruption for a chosen number of times. Just above autoplay button you will see "Spin" button which will set the reels in motion.
The slot has 3 Wild symbols: Regular Wild, Flying Wild and Re-Spins Wild. All Wild symbols can make winning combos on its own, as long they are from the same kind. All three of them can substitute for all the symbols in the game except for the bonus symbols and +1 Free Spin symbol. Regular Wild appears during the base game, Flying Wild appears during Free Spins feature, and Re-Spins Wild appears during the Re-spins Locked Wilds feature.
Wild Candy Free Spins feature is triggered once you land 3 or more Purple Gummy Bear King symbols on reels 1, 2 and 3. During this feature the Flying Wild will move onto random positions on the reels with each spin. During this feature you can earn additional Flying Wilds and additional spins.
Sugar Lock Re-spins feature is triggered when you land 3 or more Green Gummy Bear Queen symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4. Re-spins Wilds will be active in this feature, and once you land them on the reels they will remain locked in place during all re-spins.
Sugar Cash Bonus feature is triggered when you land Blue Prince Gummy Bear scatter anywhere on the reels 3, 4 and 5. In this bonus round you can earn yourself either cash awards or multipliers.

When you see a Papa bear, a Mama Bear, and a Baby Bear, what comes to your mind first? For me, it reminds me of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears - both the fairytale and the game. However, none suits my taste, either in the story, or in the game itself. In this Sugar Trail game, there isn't any bowls of soup, and there isn't any forest-wandering little girl either. Instead, the bears here are only concerned with their sugary candies and whatnots.
From the very start, I have already disliked the 40-paylines and the 0.40 minimum starting bet per spin! For just 0.30 bet per spin, I could be enjoying myself on a 243-ways-to-win game elsewhere, so why should I even bother playing this game, right? Yeah, all for the sake of one winning screenshot, that's all, and nothing more. I wouldn't mind it so much if it plays with 0.20 starting bet, as in another of Quickspin's game, but that cannot be changed now.
Basically, yet again - and I'm already getting really tired of my repetitions - the paytable and the win values of this Quickspin game really sucks! The Wild symbols pay 12.5x the total bet for getting 5 of them, and the rest pay from 3.12x down to 1.25x the total bet for getting any 5 of them. Not the rock-bottom kind of values, but close enough. There are no Scatter or Bonus symbols in the game, but each of the three Bear symbol acts as a trigger for their own feature games.
3 Papa Bear symbols award the Wild Candy feature, offering 1 Respin with Random Sticky Wilds, with 1 more Respin with each appearing Sticky Wild symbol. 3 Mama Bear symbols award the Sugar Lock Respins feature, offering 6 or more Sticky Wilds randomly placed onto the reels. 3 Baby Bear symbols award the Sugar Cash Bonus feature, awarding random coins and multipliers of 1x up to 5x. Which of the three pays better? Well, I would say none! All three are about the same - giving very low and very poor payouts each and every time!
Playing this Sugar Trail game really got to my nerves each and every time I had played it! Why? Simply because I couldn't even get one lousy 50x bet win from it! The best that I could get, after playing on more than 5 separate occasions, was only a 48x bet win, as can be seen in the attached screenshot. (P.S - so I hope Askgamblers can accept a 48x screenshot for this paid review). This Sugar Trail game joins the eternal winter Olympics - in my deep freezer, hahaha.
