When I first looked at this Lion's Pride game, I was impressed with its graphics quality and its overall presentation. It reminded me of Playtech's game, Safari Heat, one of my top favourite games. Set in a Safari jungle, with a beautiful sunset atmosphere, with the golden sunset colours thrown onto almost all of the icons, giving the whole scenario a golden feel and look. Hmm, how many times have you seen me praising a Microgaming game just from the game's looks? Very very few indeed, that much I can say, and Lion's Pride is one of them. This game also reminds me of another game, Tiger's Eye, but playing with only 40 paylines. That too is a marvelous looking game. Why? Because both share the same design concept and quality of presentation. Yep, both are clones of one another, but Lion's Pride take precedence by being more classy and more expensive to play. It's minimum starting bet is set at $1.00 per spin for its 100 paylines, and this is much higher than any usual game with same or lesser paylines.

The logo 'Lion's Pride' is the Wild symbol, 5 of which pays 1250x the line bet, which is lower than the usual Wild value, due to the increased number of paylines in play. The Wild symbol comes stacked on all reels, in both the base game and the Free Spins game. Wonderful. The Black Mask is the Scatter symbol, 5 of which pays the usual 100x the total bet amount, and is beautifully presented with that bright and vibrant yellow scatter lettering. Therein lies the only place to win that maximum possible single win in the game - in the Free Spins game. But of course, this may be a once-in-a-lifetime achievement.

I like playing Lion's Pride, just as much as I like playing Tiger's Eye, but the high minimum starting bet has always prevented me from playing it for longer periods at a time. A big starting bankroll is definitely needed to really enjoy and benefit from this game. A small bankroll may soon see it coming to zero too soon, and that's no fun at all. My best win on this game was 92x my bet amount, achieved some years back, and getting one retrigger game in it too, which helped to reach the 92x mark. Wished it had gone above the 100x mark, but it didn't, but I was still happy enough with what I had won. If you have the money, give this game a try. You may just win big!

Also during freespins there is random multiplier for wins from 2x, to 10x (super rare, never get it on huge win).

My best results are a bit sucks I believe for slot like this. During base game I have many 50x-100x total bet, and only one 150x total bet. During freespins only one really decent feature, nearly 300x total bet, and thanks to x 5 multiplier which really help me to achieve this win.
