Alice Cooper and the tome of madness is the most highly volatile game I have played from Play'n Go as of lately. And especially forming part of the Tome of Madness series, as the other slots Rich Wilde and others trigger bonus features easily, however with this slot, the average is around 300 – 500 spins without a feature.

Sometimes even 500 spins and no feature, according to my experience. This slot takes place on the grid of 5x5 grid. What I fail to understand is a slot with a max win of x3000 potential, makes it so hard to win. First of all base game wins are next to nothing, and if you do win, it's 1/10 of your bet in general, so 90% of base game spins are not even your total bet back or profit.

This game is all about the Mega wild feature and free spins. Alice is locked on the right side of the reels with chains, almost like old Garga trapped in his little alien box. You need to collect 3 keys in the base game to unlock Alice and he will take a place on reels 2, 3, or and walk either to the left or the right-hand side of the reels. This will help more wins, as you need to collect symbols to trigger the bonus feature. So basically similar to Reactoonz.

In the base game, you can unlock features on non-winning spins, and they all give different features with wild symbols, upgrading symbols, and many more for some decent small wins.

Once you unlock spins if you collect more than the required symbol you can unlock a 2x or 5x multipliers for all wins. You need to select one of the random base game features to execute on your 3 free spins that are awarded initially. The main thing is hoping you get 3 keys to unlock the Megawild during free spins and if you have the 5x multiplier, well I guess that says it all.

I think everyone should give this slot a try, however, be prepared to be frustrated. Your relationship with this slot is a love/hate thing. I could rate it 8/10 for its features and originality however 6 because the gameplay is not so good in general.
