Hi I'm an Australian player and many of the online casinos I played at no longer allow Australian players, I have found a casino I really enjoy called and Mr Bet but they are the first casino I have come across that has a 2x wagering requirement on your own money. Is this a common thing as I have never seen wagering on your own money before.

HI Kazzy and welcome to askgamblers.

Common thing - Whenever you deposit and do not take a bonus you need to wager your deposit x1 before you can request a withdrawal, that is to prevent money laundering etc. We do have some casinos that need you to wager your deposit x5 after you deposited. Standard practice and nothing wrong with it.

No casino will allow you to deposit and then withdraw again - Unless they will charge you a 10 - 20% withdrawal fee from your deposit.

Be lucky its x2 , King Billy ask x3, but Videoslots x1, Casino Adrenaline x5.

Hope the above information helps.

Hi there and welcome to AskGamblers. :)

As advised at the above post, requiring to wager your deposit a few times is pretty much a common practice nowadays due to new and stricter anti-money laundering measures applied by online casinos as per their regulatory agreements. It also works perfectly against the so called "hit&run" gamblers who would join a casino make a few-hundred-bucks deposit, bet it on black or red and request a withdrawal immediately after a successful bet.

Hope the above helps, but in case you have further questions, be our guest and feel free to ask. ;)

and it all makes perfect sense, why just last week I was playing blackjack in the local casino and had a bad run, so I was going to get up and leave.. but the dealer* was like "Don't you still have money in your pocket? You're going to have to play that too before you can leave" and there's no point in arguing.. so I did,..
