Payouts: How long is acceptable?

Recommended Posts

Hey SlotGirl!

I've edited your title slightly hope you don't mind. Guess it really depends on where you are playing and their withdrawal timeframes.

Can you say how much it is for and what exactly the casino has said in regards to where they are with the verification process? When you withdraw a large amount there'll always be extra checks..

Hi there ,,, I was wondering the same thing,, I am brand new to the online casino world,,, I have mostly lost but I did win 500 USD, 600USD and 2,000 CAD.. on May 10 and May 11th,, I see today from one casino they have approved the withdrawls but they are significantly less than I thought,, 600 USD has turned to 517.00 approval?? whatever that means and the 500USD has turned into 218.00 approval,, it appears they are taking out any bonuses I may have used, even though I did the wagering requirements.. The third withdrawl of 2,000 CAD,, has not been approved as of yet,,, every time I call or chat they keep putting me off a day or two,,, it has been 7 days as of today,, so I have spent quite a lot of money depositing and have not gotten back a penny,,, so all playing is on hold,,, quite disappointed..

True. I just want to see what people find acceptable. The amount is €21.000, and the casino is just telling me that they are checking the documents. They’ve told me every day. I was already verified before, so now they asked for extra documents and got them 5 days ago.

Nice withdrawal! The fact they've asked for extra documents and verification doesn't surprise me at all in fact I'd expect this to happen. Whether or not 5 days is acceptable, imo like I said earlier really depends on what casino it is at. You also need to consider if there are any withdrawal limits in place restricting you from withdrawing this all in one go.

I can't really say whether I think it's acceptable to be honest with so little information. Some will think 5 days is a long time and or a normal withdrawal it would be.

Likely that the bonus's were non-cashable. Will be in their bonus terms, or should be.

How long is it OK to wait for a payout of a bigger amount? I’ve waited for 5 days now, send in 2 IDs and 2 utility bills. Seems to be a bit slow.

Hey there and welcome to AskGamblers.

Hard to provide a definitive answer to your question, simply because it depends on lots of different factors - verification process, deposit and withdrawal method used, casino licence, payment processor, etc etc...

The bottom line is that usually, a decent casino brand would make sure to state their payment time frames within the general casino terms. Make sure to read these very carefully before registering and depositing from now on.

In the meantime, if you have already done that and you are sure the casino is already delaying your payment, strongly encourage you to consider the idea of using AGCCS /AskGamblers Casino complaints Service/. More about how to use it here

Also, don't forget to read carefully all the AGCCS Guidelines and make sure to adhere to them. For more information how to use AGCCS, please visit our Knowledge Base.

How long is acceptable?

Well, it depends a lot on what that 'how long' refers to, hehehe.  :p

Some years ago, I was quite at ease with payments coming in within 4 to 7 days, especially from my regular Playtech casinos, which have a standard of 4 to 5 days payment timeframe. Non-Playtech casinos have a faster payment timeframe, in the region of 1 to 3 days, at that point in time, but these have drastically improved since then, except for some casinos that still take 1 to 3 days to make their payments, even now.

I particularly love casinos under Direx N.V group, simply because their speed for KYC approval and payments are generally very fast indeed, with a few casinos completing their KYC and payment processes within minutes!

Other casinos have not shown much improvements over the years, and EveryMatrix casinos seem to have gone further back the line and not forward! They used to be amongst my favourite casinos, but not any longer! In fact, I have now closed almost all of EveryMatrix casinos that I have accounts at! These casinos may pay from 1 up to 3 days, or so.

Then there are also casinos from Game Tech, ProgressPlay, Aspire, Alpha Interactive, etc, and not one of which have managed to stay in my regular playlist. Casinos by Tranello tends to be quite good or quite bad, but none have also got into my favourite list. These casinos may take a few days to pay up!

And not forgetting, of course, there are also casinos offering RTG games, Rival games, 888 games and whatnots, but all these casinos are generally best avoided, with the exception of a very very few casinos! Their payment timeframes could stretch into months! Hehehe.  :p

So Slotgirl...'how long is acceptable' in your case, would depend a lot on which casino group you have made your withdrawal from.  :p

  • 2 weeks later...

For such amount is normal for the casinos to ask for more documents and to be a bit slower. Sure, its annoying, but is better this way, than one morning to see your account emptied because someone stole your money. 5 to 10 days is OKish in my book, more than that it becoming suspicious.

How does the length of a pending period link into the risk of your account being emptied? :-)

Don’t have the stats but 5-10 days is excessive in my view. Certainly for relatively modest withdrawals there is no need and it’s purely to see increases in reversals. 48hrs max is probably the industry average.

If a casino is taking 10 days to process a withdrawal they’re taking the mick.

It depends from casino to casino but for bigger amount mostly they have their process of verification and all. Its annoying but have patience after all its big amount.

Regarding the topic, for me personally, I think when it comes to ewallet withdrawals, they should be within 48 hours after you've done your KYC procedure. For bank cards it's around 3-5 business days. That's also what I find acceptable. If faster- even better.
