Confessions of a Slot-a-holic

Hi everyone

 

So, I came up with a little idea last night only now I'm getting chance to post it. But I thought we could all make some confessions   It can be absolutely anything from bad habits, good habits, anything you do when it comes to playing slots that maybe you know you shouldn't or you do it and it always works.

 

Hope I've made it clear what I mean? I have a few written down already but let's just give them 1 by 1.

 

Okay here goes, it's one from me you already know but just to give an idea of what I mean 

 

1. I never check pay tables (EVER) I only revert to a pay table if I can't figure out why I have or haven't won. Yes I'll even let free spins and bonus games run and just work out how they work. 

 

P.s I currently can't come up with any good confessions, all mine are bad ones   Aaaand I don't want anyone saying they don't have any!! We all have at least one bad habit!!

When it comes to confessions of a slot-a-holic which I believe is perfectly matching my gambling nature though , there's only one I could think of and which keeps messing around with me for all these years.. It's called greed! Greed for more and greater wins which very very very often results in ... well you all know what it results in right...

Okaaay...I have slept on it...but I still don't know what to confess... 

 

I can only think of one thing though...a regular habit of mine whenever I play slot games...even if they are my favourite games...an overly active middle finger...the one-finger salute! Hahaha.

2. I play games I've never played before straight in real money instead of free play. Which almost always never pays off

I Agree with you Sharon on that one. I play any new games on videoslots as soon as they see them, why? Well here are the reason -

 

Any new game that is added on videoslots has trophies, so which means any new game if you have 3. 4. 5 wins in a row then you win a certain Trophy and they award wager free spins or tournament tickets or free cash and that is what I hunt... Wager free spins and Tournament tickets/Cash.

 

But sometimes by doing so I tend to loose a lot of cash as well, because I do not know the game and whether it is high variance or not.

 

One you complete all trophies you can reset them and start collecting those spins and cash again or tournament tickets.

For me, when I start hating a game, I will hate it forever...

games like Immortal Romance, Break Da Bank Again...and now Dead Or Alive included.

 

Same goes for any game provider too...now I simply hate Playtech and NetEnt!

Hmm...good question there my dear...

 

Immortal Romance...I do play it once in awhile, but only in fun mode...just to 'test it out' occasionally...but still can NEVER win on it...and still getting zero or 1x payouts for the Wild Desire features! 

 

Break Da Bank Again...the most I can play this game, in fun mode, is 100 spins...then I'm outta there...a totally 'useless' game for me! 

 

Dead Or Alive...I only play this game when I have some winnings from free spins at Casumo, because DOA can be played with free spins winnings but not with bonus money...and of course, nothing would come out of it. I would be damn lucky if I can get a free spins game, or even get an extended play time. It doesn't happen. It's as dead as before.

 

But where real money play is concerned...no...I do not play them anymore...not in the future either...unless I can 'see' or 'detect' a good change in the games. My instincts and observational skills are good where this is concerned and I always rely on them.

Whether it's in a land based casino or online casino, I always play slots. When I enter a land based casino, I went straight to the smoke and play room, light up my cigarette, insert a €50 bill and press play. I could play for hours on 1 slot. BlackJack and Roulette are not that interesting to me. You can lose big time easily. With slots, you can play very long time with only €50...at the minimum stake ofcourse

Gambling should be for entertainment only. I've seen a lot of winners at the roulette tables but I've also seen a lot of losers (€10.000) within an hour, wife that wants money from her husband but he wanted to go home hahaha. It's funny to see other gamblers behaviour.

Fortunately, there are also plenty happy players, even when they lose money and those are mostly slots players. Happy winners who buy you a drink after winning a big win , old folks with interesting life story. The slots room is the most fun part of a casino, not only for the games but also to interact with fellow gamblers. It's a real life forum.

That's okay V, (Valerie, Veronica, V... )...not a problem with me. I know there are people out there who don't drive. Some don't even need to drive...they are driven around...lucky people!
