What are your wagering limits?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I just wondered what rules you have in place for wagering requirements. What I mean by this is what's the maximum wagering requirement you're prepared to accept when taking a bonus?

Back in my early days of gambling I never used to care what the amount was I'd take anything, now I'm far more fussy. Being offered a bonus with a 60x wagering requirement for example is a no-no for me now, I just don't have the time any more to sit and try and meet these kind of requirements.

I'm also VERY reluctant these days to accept wagers that require both bonus + deposit to be wagered.

Out of interest do any of you have any limits like this or do you just take anything?

I think almost everyone is like you Sharon darling.  ^_^

Normally, I would accept 30 to 35 wagering on the bonus amount, but if it's my favourite casino, I would close one eye and accept the 45 wagering. More than this, sorry, no way, it can go fly away. 200x wagering? Only fit to be where it's freezing!  :D

Deposit + bonus wagering? Hmm...most of the time I wave them bye-bye, no thank you, unless it's only 20x d+b or less.  B)

Have I always been like this?

Well, when I was a young man, I had almost-shoulder-length hair. They even called me 'cowboy'. Something like in my avatar there. When I started working, I had to be like a gentleman, or faced disciplinary actions. At times it was a bit longer, at times it was a bit shorter, my hair I mean, not something else. Nowadays, I like to keep it short and neat, but at times, I would leave it to get thicker, simply lazy to go to the barber!  :D

In my early days of gambling, I was a scavenger, like a 'cowboy'. Whatever was free, I would grab them! Wagering did not exist in my head, I just wanna have fun playing with free money. Not enough fun, I would duplicate accounts to get more freebies! Oh gees! I got banned, I got locked out, I got labelled too. Then I grew up a little bit, became more civilised, and stuck to the rules, but wagerings still did not bother me then, because they were mostly 20x to 25x deposit+bonus at that time, which weren't that bad. They started bothering me when it gradually went up to 30x d+b and more, because the wins became harder to get. It hurt my wallet real bad, but I still played them!  :D

From 2014 to 2015, wagering requirements did not concern me much, because I was riding the up-wave of my life! I would deposit and play even with 40x d+b wagerings, but I avoided Casino Plex because of its 50x d+b wagering requirement, which was way too high, even at today's standards. When on my down-wave in 2016 till now, everything had to be changed! Everything had to be very tightly budgeted and controlled. But where freebies are concerned, I wouldn't want to miss them, regardless of their wagering requirements, becoming like a scavenger all over again, but a much wiser scavenger!  ;)

Ask me one simple question...and I give you a lifetime long story!

I think 30x or 40x are acceptable wagering requirements for a deposit bonus, however, most of casinos only allow slots to meet wagering requirements, and if they allow another games then they assign low percentages of contribution, for example, 20% to roulette and video poker, and 5% to blackjack, baccarat and others; this way, your wagering can easily pass from 40x to 800x   Eternal and discouraging, so, many times, I rather play without bonuses or take small bonuses like those offered by some casinos about 10% with 1x wagering requirements.

60x is an inconceivable wagering requirement for me, if you start winning, your winning streak must last forever to clear that bonus.

Accepting a deposit bonus, I never expect to win from it but I will make sure that the money is well spent.

I'd accept a bonus with a high wagering reqs if the casino has loyalty points feature or a leveling up bar.

Most of the time I only deposit the minimum amount required for the deposit bonus because that way, the wagering amount is smaller and easier to clear.
