Just had a bit of terrible experience at Bitstarz

So it all begin with a 10mbit deposit. 

I made my deposit using Bitcoin, and opened punk rocker slot. I made a bonus buy of 6mbtc and won about X200, then proceeded to make another bonus buy and won a wopping x1500 on the slot...Got a bit excited and went to the my account section for a withdrawal, come to see there is a bonus attached to my deposit which as automatic. Now I am seriously pisseeedd of already. I contacted support and ask where the ***** the bonus came from and they said it's automatically applied to my account when I deposited. I must turn off the do not give bonuses when making deposits. I mean how the ***** am I suppose to know they offering a bonus for the day?  I asked support to cancel my bonus so that I can get my x1500 win credited to my account because I was not aware of the bonus and they said no, I needed to complete wagering not what I wanted to hear. (I Hate Wagering).

To top it off, I never ever play with any deposit bonuses at Bitstarz ever because of the limited providers available in BTC. Only no limit and play n go worth playing and the minimum bet in Play n Go and iSoftbet is $2 per bet which is a bit high for me, I remember asking @OlleBitStarz to get this lowered and it still has not been done.

I only the Friday loyalty spins and Wednesday spins which I get for being a depositing member. Never any cash deposit offers or anything @OlleBitStarz can confirm this by looking at my history. The reason I did not have bonuses turned off was because I was playing in USD for the past while during the AskGamblers competition to enable more provides to being available to get winners. Normally when bonus is available then it would have displayed as per the screenshot and I would have known there would be a bonus added. Also I do not mind the bonus being added, but the system activated it automatically, it does not wait for you to go activate it under my bonuses section similar like free spins etc.

I just really hoped support could have made the exception and canceled the bonus and added my x1500 win to my account because this automatic bonus issue messed up my entire day and play at Bitstarz and it's obvious I did not meet wagering as I was not in the mood to really focus and games are seriously limited. 

I had to kiss a 40 mbtc win goodbye which is a big amount for me actually. 

To top it off, today I received my 2nd chance spins for my deposits I have lost yesterday and I see they now credit it on those shiiittty Bgaming slots... It used to be on Platipus or Fruit ZEN which I will choose any day over these 9 pay line slots, because you know will never win anything 

 

Aaaarrrrgg!

Grrrrr, that is such a pain. Could they not have check your gaming history to see you never take bonuses? I can't play there so I don't know the answer to this, but when you have a bonus I assume you start playing with the bonus funds straight away do you? And that's why they couldn't cancel?

Yes, But I did not know about the bonus it was automatically added, I just dpeosited, opened the game and did some bonus buys. I mean I would never do bonus buys knowing I have an active bonus you know. But its over now. I lost about 40mbtc that night, however I recovered it yesterday at least, 15mbtc from deposit and another 15 from winnings from my deposit.

So its good, I guess was just the frustration that was kicking in.

Eagerness to start playing must never override the task of checking things out first. 

But we all learn new things sooner or later...or simply forgot the ones that we have learnt. 😜

What method did you use to deposit in US dollars?  I normally play bitcoin at Bitstarz, but wanted to deposit us dollars.  This was for the same reason, more games available.  The problem is I don't know a way to deposit us dollars.

First of all, sorry for the slow reply, but sometimes I don't get the AG notifications for some reason.

Now, let's clear some things up :)

In regards to the limit of the PlayNGo games, I've asked our account manager over there to sort it out multiple times, and I thought this was fixed already, so I'm sorry to hear that it's not. But if it isn't, just reach out to me in a PM, I think that's the easiest way to go about it. I mean, I hope I don't come across as an ignorant moron who never listens to players here, and to be quite fair, I don't think that would be in line with my reputation.

@Fiekie247, you take a lot of bonuses at BitStarz, as a matter of fact, your bonus release to deposit ratio is 58% for BTC and 65% for USD. Now, I'm not sure which bonus was attached to your deposit, but it's very hard for us to know that you don't want a bonus if you don't have that setting on your account. If it was the case that you never take deposit bonuses, it would make that very hard for us to know right of the bat as the other bonuses seem to appeal to you. As we see you having a very high bonus release to deposit ratio,  I would make the assumption that you like them, and unless you stated which bonuses you liked or did not like, I wouldn't know what to look for.

As unfortunate as this is, it's also important that you have the correct settings on your account, and if we're talking about a deposit bonus here (again, please let me know which bonus we're talking about), I assume it was a match bonus? Then didn't you react that your balance increased with 50% extra upon deposit? On top of that, all the other bonuses, such as. spins and friday loyalty, you have to manually activate yourself, so I'm really confused here.

What I am saying is I never take any bonuses I meant I never take any "DEPOSIT" offers with my deposit. The bonuses that I claim are Friday Loyalty Bonuses(Which Nick sends), Wednesday Free Spins(For Being a deposit player in general) - I even get them on Wednesdays even if I did not deposit in a week or two and as well the second chance free spins if I have lost my deposit the previous days( So the previously mentioned bonuses does not require a deposit in general - Those are freebies you give me in if I am honest)..

however I meant I do not claim anything when making a deposit in general.

 

Thanks for you response. Highly appreciated, I just felt I needed to vent, as I was a bit pissed as 40mbtc win is a decent amount for me at least lol.

Now, I think it's quite clear that it's a mistake if you don't take any bonuses what so ever. Because if a player has a bonus ratio of like 0% or 1%, it's quite obvious
that the player in question has very little interest in bonuses.

In your case, it's a bit harder for us as you do take bonuses, and it's very hard for us to know what bonuses you like and which ones you don't like unless you actually
tell us. The freebies (as you call them, which is fair) you need to activate, and the deposit bonuses are added automatically unless you have that selection in your account
as you mentioned.

Again, there is some responsibility of the player here as well, and I don't think I'm extremely unfair when I say that you also need to make sure that your preferences you
set on your account is correct. It's hard for us to know what they are, and we cannot go against your own settings on your account. I mean, if this was a deposit bonus, how
come you didn't react when you got 50% extra added to your balance? If I deposit 100 EUR in a casino and my balance is 150 EUR prior to start playing, it's quite
clear a bonus has been added.

What you could have done is forfeited that bonus immediately, prior to you starting to play, and we would be all good here. But I do feel that you have a bit of responsibility
in all this. Once more, you have a setting on your account, and we acted according to your preferences, so I don't think it's fair to fault us for that. Now, it's very unfortunate
if that was a mistake, but at least it's a lesson learned.
