  1. If you've very recently played PlaynGo's Book Of Dead game, then you would realise that the Book (Wild and Scatter) symbol has been replaced by a Tomb symbol, the same symbol used in Legacy Of Dead game. Book Of Dead uses a similar 'Explorer' and 'Book' symbols in its game, but Novomatic, the original creator of Book Of Ra game, won its fight against PlaynGo. Henceforth, PlaynGo had to make changes to their game, but only by replacing the Book symbol with their own Tomb symbol. Was there a fine involved in that case? Probably yes, but I wouldn't know for sure. The Tomb symbol was not the only change that I could see and experience from my several play sessions on the latest updated/revised version of Book Of Dead. The free spins feature games seem to take many more spins now to be triggered, and each feature game does not seem to pay as good as before either. Maybe it was purely not my luck, but I could usually detect minor changes in games that I play on regular basis, and this is one more of such games. Nonetheless, I still think it's a good Book game to play, due to its good win potentials, but now needing more patience and staying cool for longer stretches of play time!
  2. I have just played for the very first time Gamomat's game, Ramses Book Christmas Edition, so here are my comments. However, kindly note that variations in play and payouts may and do occur frequently, so some players may get better or worse game plays than I did, so the following is but a guide on the game. No, Ramses is not wearing a Santa's cape even though it's a Christmas edition game. Typically of 'Book' games, this Ramses game also plays with the standard 10 lines and a minimum starting bet of 10 cents per spin. The paytable is identical to other book games, meaning, the maximum single possible win would be 5000x the bet. The game that I played was not the English version, but it's easy enough to know what has been won...the 'gerwinn' amount is simply the 'win' amount. Ramses Book started off quite well, maybe because I was playing it for the first time, which do happen quite frequently with any other first-time-playing games. The 3 Book Wild/Scatter symbols came quite frequently and quite closely together, and each free spins feature game paid not too badly. Nonetheless, getting a few 100x wins didn't take long at all to achieve, so that's quite satisfying. As you get deeper into the game, you would notice minor changes occuring, like the feature games taking so many more spins to be triggered each time, and the wins becoming slightly smaller in amount. By the time I had done over 100 feature games, getting 3 Book symbols needed at least 300 - 500 spins to trigger one free spins feature game! This can be distraughting, to say the least. So, my advice is, play the game when the going is good, but LEAVE the game when it starts taking over 300 spins to get 3 Book sysmbols. You'd be much safer that way! .
  3. Looking back to the good old golden days when slot games were limited in numbers and in types, I'd be playing mostly on fruits or animals themed games, including those themed on ancient Mythologies as well. Then Novomatic started introducing their 'Book Of Ra' game, with each spin needing only 10 cents, when most other games would need 15 - 25 cents, yet the game was offering an incredible winning possibility of 5000x the bet size. In those days, this was simply superb! Needless to say, 'Book Of Ra' quickly became one of my hot favourite games to play back then, but not now. Nowadays, you'd now find an abundance of 'Book' games, under various game titles, with many gameplay variants, and with additional special features as well. Some are very good games to play, but most are just like another book game...play them a few times, then that's it. On to another type of game. As for me, I have always been the old-school player type of person, preferring to stick to a few well-tested games, but occasionally trying out newer games nonetheless. After decades of playing numerous slot games, I now have my few favourites which I call 'My Magnificent Six'. It was on seven, but the seventh game failed to perform to my liking, so it was finally kicked out, hahaha. The top of My Magnificent Six games, as regular AG members would already know by now, is 'Thai Paradise', a 15 lines game by Playtech, with the same 5000x maximum possible win. No other book game could hold my interest for so long, or as strongly as this game could, and this may go on for many more years to come. The best part is, I have gotten all 15 of the top symbol (Thai Lady) in one of the free spins feature games, getting a whopping 5019x win at the end of it. No other book game has ever given me this kind of win, so Thai Paradise will always be my Number 1 Book Game!
