No, this isn't true. Casino's cannot manipulate the software to make you lose. Even if they could, it isn't in their interest (as it's illegal). The odds are in their favour, it is better for them to just let you play and lose on your own. As for the Martingale system, it's very old and common. Basically every time you lose, you double your bet, eventually you will win and win back what you lost. It offers the highest RTP for roulette. However, this is why casino's have max bet limits. Eventually (and it might take a while) you will either run out of money due to a run of bad luck, or you will hit the max bet cap and be unable to double.
