Hello there,

I don’t know if anyone was in a similar situation, but 888sport doesn’t want to pay me about 4,000 euros as it was in my account at the time. As far as I remember, at the end of November I asked for a withdrawal of 1200 euros, shortly after that they denied me access to the account and put it under investigation. Since then, I have called them dozens and dozens of times, but each time I received the same answer - the account is under investigation.

It’s been an amazing 7 months since that, and I haven’t gotten back either access to my account or my money that’s there. I called them on the phone at least 5 times, sent 5 times an email and they replied the same each time.

Is it normal for you to keep someone's money for 7 months and not want to pay him? I can’t believe this happened to me with a company like 888, which has a huge public reputation.

Not paying someone money for 7 months, and giving the same answer every time is at least criminal, disgusting and the worst relationship I have had with a bookmaker. Can they continue this for the next 5 years if I'm not mistaken? Tell me the account is still under investigation?

I just can't believe I'm in a situation like this.

Unbelievable, but it's practically the same reply you gave me the previous 15 times.

I completely doubt that what you are doing is in accordance with the law and the rules.

You haven't even told me the maximum period during which an account can be "under investigation"

Anyway, this is by far the most embarrassing situation I've ever had with a bookmaker.

I do not recommend anyone to open an account at 888, because it can very easily happen that you will be without your money for at least 7 months. Disgusting.

Please allow us to remind you that as per our User Agreement, signed by every user upon registration: In case of any investigation relating to suspected fraudulent behavior involving your account, we will investigate any such activity, and take any action we reasonably believe is necessary (including blocking said accounts and retaining any funds therein). We are under no obligation to provide details of the investigation and/or funds retained, or whether this has affected your account in any way. We will cooperate with any competent authority investigating such an incident, and funds will be retained by us, until we have received sufficient instructions from the competent authority to either unblock said accounts, or release any portion of the retained funds back to the accounts affected.

The case is still being investigated. Our Operations team will get back with more information via e-mail once their investigation is concluded.

It's really amazing that you treat customers like that. Which fraudulent behavior? What are you talking about? I lost more money in my account than I won, I played on it for years. But when I won something that the problems started, of course - I apologize for winning any money on your site. My mistake.

At least I'm glad I opened this complaint on AskGamblers, so I hope that other users will see what awaits them if they win money on your site. You are no different from Indian and Nigerian scammers. It is truly amazing that you are sponsors of the biggest competitions, and in fact you are just fraudsters who give themselves the right to keep someone's money forever under the pretext of an investigation.

Imagine, the investigation lasts seven months. It's like investigating the assassination of Kennedy. I think it’s clear to everyone here that you’re not investigating anything for 7 months, you just don’t want to pay the balance, and that's the whole thing.

I sincerely hope that AskGamblers here is aware of what this is all about. I refuse to believe that you are so rude and deceitful that you have been doing this for as long as 8 months (eight months). You're holding someone's money for so long? How do you even have a license to work legally?

I have been your user for a couple of years, so far I have lost a considerable amount of money with you. But only after a couple of won bets , this become a nightmare. While I was losing money you constantly kept sending me promotions and bonuses on the mail. Obviously, the only good user for you is the one who loses money. Sad.

I want other users to see this aswell, I will do my best to share the link of this complainant on Twitter, and all gambling sites I'm visiting. Just so that someone doesn't make a mistake and register on 888, because what you are doing is not being done in Africa either.

I suggest you change your name from 888casino/888sport to 888scam. That suits you best.

As expected, your reply is full of empty phrases. “We empathize with you” and the like.

Can you tell me at what stage is the investigation currently? I believe it is already in the final, considering that EVEN 8 MONTHS have passed?

My message to the AskGamblers team - This complaint cannot be considered resolved until the gentlemen from 888scam have done something concrete on this issue. For now, I see absolutely no progress. They didn't tell me anything which I didn't know before.

Obviously, this is how we can go on indefinitely. And after five years when I ask them when my withdrawal will be processed & my funds released will they give the same reply?
