Spain - Gambling restrictions?

Hi

I am going to Spain for 3 weeks :)

Does anybody know if they have any gambling restrictions?

Thanks

Hey mate,

All about gambling legislation in Spain here - http://www.ordenacionjuego.es/en/conocenos

List of licensed operators could be found here - http://www.ordenacionjuego.es/en/operadores/buscar

Hope that helps.

I went to Ibiza earlier this year and one thing that stands out straight away (as with a lot of other countries) is the lack of betting shops on the high streets... here in the UK they have become ubiquitous. I did take my laptop and found myself unable to login to a bunch of my favourite casinos (I know, I know... on-line gambling on holiday, I should be shot...!) but I cheated a little and used Hola! which is a browser plugin that allows you to change which country you are in. I would only recommend doing this if you are playing at your regular casinos you frequent at home though and be prepared for the possibility of not being paid in the worst cases if the casino objects to your use of VPN software.

There was a great land casino near the airport, a great many of the staff spoke excellent English but I had no trouble even with the dealers who did not as I already know the games so well other than a bit of a mixup at the Blackjack table as I didn't know the exact ruleset in use (Double on 10/11 only, not on a 9???). Cashed out €500 profit mostly from blackjack, was a great night!
