Skrill (Moneybookers) excludes Canada as of 2014!!

Hi dears!

Another disturbing news and again Canada is being unlucky one!

One of the most user-friendly, favourite and frequently used e-wallet, Skrill, also known as Moneybookers, decided to no longer operate in Canada, as from 1st January 2014!

Casino brands are already notified about this decision and some of them are already sending notifying emails to the players to hurry up with withdrawing their funds before 31st December!!

So, I think we all are noticing something strange is cooking up in Canada! EuroPartners recently also announced their exclusion, iAffiliates discontinue Live Games in Canada and now this! Is Canada preparing to completely forbid online gaming?

Is 2014th a year when gambling will no longer be legal in Canada?

What do you think about all these news?  Sounds like a sudden anti-gambling conspiracy!

"Strange" is the first word appearing on my mind when reading the above. :o

Especially when just a few weeks ago they have announced this one - Skrill Wins Division of Gaming Enforcement Approval for Internet Gaming in the State of New Jersey ?!

Still haven't heard anything from the Canadian authorities regarding online gambling limitations though...

Yup! Skrill warned me about this in mid to late December.

Is this the end of the road for us Canadians including myself for online gambling? The once chilled beer left too warm in room temperature!? The mirror that shattered into many pieces in a single throw!? The bright full moon blocked by an eclipse!? The Crazy wheel that spun it`s last spin!? The flickering light bulb that shorted itself out!? The city that never slept finally snoozed!? The storm that finally calmed down!?!? This is just to limit our chances for online gambling. We`re still able to do it though but without Skrill and Neteller`s help anymore.  :(

By the way Luciana, it is not like you to bring terrible news to us, I would expect this from ``Mr Admin`` :p

Isnt Kahnawake Mohawk Territory in Canada?

Yes. And they host some of the most famous and strictest licensing jurisdiction at the moment. ;) Which offers a great help to players by the way. Something that certainly cannot be said for so many of the other overpraised names in that business! :p
