Seriously delayed £2,500 withdrawal and ridiculous verification requests
Deposited over £5000 on the site and got balance up to £8500 so I decided to withdraw £2500 and used the lock feature so I couldn't reverse it. I ended up losing the remaining £6000 balance which was extremely gutting but at least I had the £2500 left. I had already uploaded the requested verification proof of ID (driving licence), proof of address (letter) and proof of debit card used for the deposits.
Then later that day I get an email from support saying my provisional driving licence was rejected as it wasn't a "permanent document". First time that has ever been rejected as it still clearly proves my identity. Starting to worry that this is going to be another verification battle... why can't the process be easy!? So I got a copy of my passport and uploaded it to the site.
Then later on that day I get another email saying that they need to complete further verification on me due to spending a long time gambling/substantial money spent as a UKGC requirement. Once again something that has never been asked from me before! For this they wanted my full bank statement including all transactions for February in PDF format... This seems extremely intrusive access to my own personal bank transactions and I really don't see why a gambling company should be allowed to see this?? Especially as they don't make any precautions to check my proof of wealth BEFORE I make my first deposit. If I had lost all my deposits and not made a withdrawal then none of this would be checked. Anyway, I send the bank statement.
Then not 1, not 2 but 3 days go past with no contact and no processing of my withdrawal. So I go into Live Chat to find out what is going on and they tell me my bank statement is still being looked at by the Finance department but they have gone home now ready for the weekend... so I have to wait for Sunday and Saturday just starting at my locked £2500 doing nothing.
So Monday morning I contact Live Chat again who say that my bank statement has been checked but I need to clarify certain payments made and why I sent funds to another bank account... I mean what the hell has this got to do with processing my £2500? It wasn't even winnings because I've already lost £2500 of deposits and £3500 of site winnings. It is completely up to me who I use my debit card with and if I want to transfer my own funds to another bank account I own!! So once again I message them explaining what the transactions were and the payments to my other bank account.
I then get told I need to send ANOTHER bank account statement of the transactions in my other bank account... this can't be necessary surely?! BUT I sent it again as now I'm desperate for my withdrawal as its been 5 days and counting just to try and get it processed let alone actually received! They tell me that its still being looked at about 7 hours after I sent it so now I should imagine I will have to wait till TOMORROW for it to be accepted. Even though I messaged them as soon as I could in the morning to get this resolved!!
I am so angry that my hard earned money is happily taken by this company with no questions asked but as soon as you want to withdraw any of it it is a complete nightmare!! I'll say it again I haven't actually won anything but actually technically lost £6,000!!!!!!!
The most stupid thing is all this is I actually think the site is pretty good with over 1700 slots to play but NEVER have I seen so many hoops of fire you need to jump through to get any withdrawal processed.
Please get my withdrawal processed AskGamblers. I am pulling my hair out here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
