When someone mentioned that BetSoft would be coming out with a new game entitled 'Event Horizon' last year or so, my first thought was of the movie of the same name. That was a science fiction movie, about time-space-warp theories that not everyone would enjoy nor appreciate. When the game came out, there was nothing about time, there was nothing about space, there was nothing about warping. The only common thing the movie and the game shared, was time - time required to watch the movie and time required to play the game. Is that good or bad? Well, if you have the time, then read on! One came from NetEnt, one came from BetSoft. Similarly with another similarity, there was Starburst and there was Fruit Zen. Which one I like more? Aah! Hands up who know me well enough! Hmm, too bad I can't see the hands, but anyway, my award goes to Fruit Zen. So, one up for BetSoft! Hehehe. And what about Twin Spin and Event Horizon? Aah! Hands up who know my answer! Hmm, still can't see those hands. Ah well, maybe none went up anyway. Hahaha.

The competition between Twin Spin and Event Horizon is exactly the same as with Starburst and Fruit Zen. NetEnt has the upper hand in all cases, because their promotional and publicity activities are so much more aggressive than BetSoft's. Try and look for this Event Horizon game in casinos, and you can hardly find them. Twin Spin is like everywhere, in every department store! Hahaha. But I'm not concerned with all that. What's more important to me is how they both compare, and which would be better to play.

Paytable wise, both games have identical win values, no differences at all, everything are exactly the same! Graphics wise, Twin Spin uses 2D presentation, Event Horizon uses 3D renditions, so Event Horizon looks more attractive and appealing than Twin Spin! Game play wise, well, this is to individual preferences and tastes, as usual. But had BetSoft gone really aggressive like what NetEnt did, my vote would certainly go for Event Horizon! Right now, every player has played Twin Spin, every player has fallen in love with Twin Spin, Twin Spin can be found easily, Twin Spin can be played in many favourite casinos, so Event Horizon loses on all these counts!

I have only played several hundreds of spins on Event Horizon, but many more spins on Twin Spin, so I cannot really conclude a more reliable comparison between the two. I played this game a few times, but every time when I played it I lost my money on it. Well I opened it every time when I had bad luck on Twin Spin. But on Twin Spin I still had better results than from this one. I think this is a bad copy of Twin Spin. Or maybe Twin Spin is better copy of this game. I do not really know, but I do not like this game very much.

The payouts while I was playing were low. I never won more than x30 bet from it. I think some symbols should pay out more, sometimes I thought it will be a big win – but instead of that I was disappointed about pay out. I don't think I will play it again in near future. I like some games from Betsoft software provider, but not this one. Other games from Betsoft offer better design, graphics and also sounds. But here I can not say anything really good about it. I expected better graphics with some animation background.

I will rate this game with 5 stars. I think I will leave this game and I will never play it again - because of my luck on it.

Event Horizon is one of the newest slots made this year from BetSoft provider. Must say I am not fan of these slots, although I have tried any one of them and maybe I have few favorites, which this slot is one of them. This one of the few 243 way slot, which they have only few of them, but to be honest this game is the worst of the games I have played from this software.

This slot has nothing to do with the Twin Spin slot, or maybe some cheap copy of the famous Twin Spin, but again I don't see any similarity. But lately when Netent has launched their newest game Neon Staxx I would say this game are so similar, just because they are games that I wouldn't play.

Event Horizon game I have played few times and the reason is they were offered to me as free spins from one BetSoft casino, so as a free I wanted to used them. The other times when I was playing this slot again from another casino as a EuroFortune, which they also give me those free spins on the same game. The symbols on this game are maybe similar as Twin Spin and also this game has no bonus neither free spins round, but only wild symbol, which while you play, you will have opportunity to see it only few times, like that wild symbol doesn't exists in this game.

As a 243 way paying slot this is very bad slot, same as their also BetSoft game Fruit Zen slot, which is another low variance game, such as this newly added game Event Horizon. I don't like neither the graphics, neither the looks of this game, so I would say, that this BetSoft Casinos, should stick to their 3D games, at least you could find some of them paying good, as for this one not. I wouldn't recommend this slot, just because is low variance, the only thing it will eat all your balance and you won’t benefit much from it.

Sometimes the last 4 reels couple together and there is no win. But nevertheless this slot is very good.
