Missing cash
I have been a Betway Customer for several years. I have never had an issue with them until this occasion. I am only submitting this complaint in hopes of expediting this process. Support for Canadians has been slim to none.
March 3rd, 2024. - My $4,310 withdrawal left my Betway account.
March 5th - my withdrawal was marked as paid on my Betway transaction history.
March 7th - I thought it was off that the money had not been deposited yet, I still understood there is a buffer period with this.
I reached out to customer support and was met for the first time with the dreadful “AI chat bot” this bot informed me the $4,310 withdrawal should reflect in my account on March 8th at 12:30AM ET. I thought great!
March 8th - several hours after the quoted timeframe, I still had received nothing. Later that day, after many, many attempts I was finally met with a live customer support representative named Sergio. Sergio had informed me that it was marked as paid on March 5th. He said it was paid to my preferred withdrawal method, interact email. I asked him if I should have received the payment by now, to which he responded yes. I told him I had received nothing and he informed me to reach out to “[email protected]” with bank statements informing them of the situation. He said he would also escalate this situation. Sergio told me I would have a response within 24-48 hours. I sent screenshots and bank statements to the email given by Sergio. Not only have I not received a response from them days after the quoted timeframe. The email that Sergio gave me provides and automatic response that says “this mail is not longer monitored and your email will not be responded to. Fantastic!
March 11th - No response from Betway, no update to anything regarding my missing $4,310 dollars. I tried again to get in contact with a live customer support agent, only this time after numerous attempts I could only get through to the AI chat bot. I then spent the next hour or so searching the web in hopes of finding some sort of avenue to contact Betway. I was met with a number which is 1-540-755-4064. I was in contact with a live customer support agent with him minutes. I was filled with joy and relief. Minutes later, the customer support agent said he could not help me as my account was not made in the United States (I am Canadian) I then asked him to direct me to a customer support line that could help me. His response “I’m sorry I can’t help you at this time”
Later that day I called the same number, I was met with a different agent. She told me she would escalate this to her manager and they would call me back” I’ve received nothing.
March 12th - I called the American customer support line again, In hopes of being directed to somebody who can help me. I was once again given the same excuse. I tried once again to get in contact with someone via their “help” channel within the betway app and was met with they unhelpful AI ChatBot.
Betway, I have been left in the dark with no response from anybody about anything. I have no idea who to contact, I have no idea what to do regarding my missing $4,310 withdrawal. I am a reasonable guy, all I ask is that somebody reaches out to me regarding this to give me an update.
